| Lowering Kit
I am wondering if you have to cut the hood to use these kits? I have searched, but I am still not sure. Thanks for input.

Yes but if you have the plastic hood you can just tighten it down over it

if you get the level3rc kit you will need to cut the hood. but it looks good if you do a clean job. CKRC fits right under the hood with no cutting.

what the difference between getting the COG kit and installing some rc4wd 85mm shocks? mine its a trailing rig 90%, almost not rock crawling at all. |

Shorter shocks would be fine for trail driving. But if your crawling your not gonna have as much travel and articulation

Shorter shocks will do the same as a lowering kit, but will also minimize flex. The lowering kit was designed so you could keep the longer shocks, but still get the belly down. As long as you have 5-5.5" of flex you'll be fine.

thanks, I already have some rc4wd 85mm all aluminum shocks and maybe I will lose 3/4 of a inch in articulation that dont seem to be that much for trailing, I will building them and installing them on the wraith

Let us know how it works for you. Have you started a build thread on the Wraith yet?
