Yeah, and I would pay more for some that were better quality.

Glad to hear the Titans will have a home, thanks for the input guys. Got the chassis drilled for mounting the side panels today. Got the sides, roof pieces, and a possible "tailgate" rough cut.
Had to order some new small taps so I'll be held up on that till mid next week on that.

Yep, 12K on my wife's finger. I think I'm allowed to have a couple of toys on my workbench. What was that honey?:lmao:

And for the record...Scalers are WAY cooler than diamonds any day. They don't do anything!!!.8)

Ordered, don't know why I couldn't find it earlier.
No rush on the seat. If you will do it, I'll send you measurements and you can get to when it's convenient for you.

Made the rear roof panel to incorporate my Ultra 4 light setup. What ya think?

Very nice. "thumbsup" I was thinking of making new roof panels and doing the same thing to Guido. Now I know I'll be doing it.

I ordered up a rod end that was double what I payed for from RC4wd, but if it has tighter tolerances it will be worth it. Gonna be pricey though to outfit the whole rig but I want to hang with the big dogs in this scale game so that's the price I have to pay.

Send that out here so I can beat the shit out of it, i mean drive it and show it off in the King of Lucia....I'll have Norm install that rear seat at the same time?

Great build and great custom work on the axles and chassis.

That's the million dollar question now, or $13. These were visually a little nicer but as soon as I picked it up I wanted to chunk it in the trash. This is the one from Mcmaster Carr and its worse than the Rc4wd ones. Guess it will be plastic ones after all.

Don't put it past me to ship this off to someone to drive. I want good pics of this one and there is no one around here that is handy with a camera or that I would trust to have some nice action pics taken. When it's done, it's either getting mailed to someone for that reason, or I'm taking a road trip to the nearest scale junky with a HD camera.

And if you don't book the flight then send it out here. Gerrish, Ty and a whole bunch of others will be shooting and who can say no to Toyofast Scale videos....

If you want it out here in the event let me know. I'll buy my own KOL entry you send the truck.

I think you're working with Gus out here on some axles already too. Keep the pics rollin. Chris did you get a ride from the airport sorted? Let me know if not. I have room to pick up people, right now it's just Patrick I have to get and a ride with that Lady Norm.... good luck:lmao:

I'd love to go but my traveling is over with for the year. I'm out of vacation and spending a lot on my new setup for CFM to be more productive.

Do you guys think this will work. I put an o-ring on the ball of the joint and it's nice and tight now. Still has full movement and the orang won't be able to come off. The slop on these was side to side and not fore and aft like my rc4wd ones. They are $7.50 each before shipping so of you think nay, let me now please.

:ror: Norm said he'd get me but it sounds like he is tight on room. If you don't mind picking me up and have plenty of room that would be great. "thumbsup"

I do the o-ring trick for the lower link rod ends on Guido. since the shocks are link mounted, I use the o-rings to eliminate floppy links. Works great for me. "thumbsup"

sorry to here they are sloppy. with the o-ring they remind me of a bushing rod end.

you could try them on two lower links and see if they last. if so then swap the rest out for them.

Let me know where you got them from and I will run a set on the wraith at nationals and report back. I have wasted alot of time digging for better metal ones too.
The plastic ones just do not look right to me.
