I would start with checking all my soldering, I had one that kind of acted the same and my positive wire had broken loose on my bec and would lose contact.

Bad connection at plug or battery it self? Have you tried different battery? If shaking it will sometimes make it come back sounds like connection. Try alt. battery if it still does it check connector on esc.

I have two batteries and have a similar problem with just one of the batteries. When it shuts off, try just moving the battery plug/wire around and see if that make things come back on. If it does, you isolated your problem to your battery connection.

Ive seen it many times.. Its the Tamiya connectors.. They are really bad.. Mine was cut off before I even took the truck off the kitchen table. I installed a Traxxas connector to match my other trucks and batteries.. my buddies truck acted just like yours.. Switched out the connector for a Deans,,, Problem solved. No more glitching..

Mine was doing similar things and I traced it to a bad positive battery connection to the ESC. Axial was kind enough to send me a new one under warranty.

Its a cold joint somewhere, start with the battery and move your way down the signal chain of electricity to the motor. Although with the lights cycling off, I'm inclined to think its between the battery and esc.

Are those wheel weights glued to your tires?
