Default RcBros Wraith Build and Proto's

I purchased the Wraith to keep it stock, and I could only last 3 days . I ran the rig stock at the G6 challenge in Goldendale Washington. I was pretty happy with the performance. First course took 45 minutes and I finished 3rd for the day. Second day I was about 30 minutes in and the electronics finally had enough. Not bad for the water, grass and mud I ran it through.

Then the fun began! Upgrades are found below:
Vanquish Steering Links
XR10 Wheels with Custom Rings from Fubar Crawlers
2.2 Pitbulls
Proline SCX10 Shocks
Robinson Trany Goodies
Tekin 17.5 Motor
Mamba Max Pro

I'd like to thank Harley for his Faq thread and Fubar Crawlers for coming up with a set of rings to work on my XR10 wheels. I'd also like to throw a shout out to Hotwheels who generously hooked me up with these killer tires!

And some VP Goodies

I've been playing with making upgrades for this rig. Probably a little to much lol. Its just a fun rig with a lot of cool appeal to it, so the possibilities are endless. I've got something pretty neat in the works, but for now i'll post up some of the side panels and window nets we've been playing with.

I'm still undecided, so if you are interested in what you see, please send me a pm.

The first thing I played with were some window nets. These can be used to simply add alittle flavor to your rig. Using the factory holes they can be used with virtually any aftermarket panel. There is one hold that will need to be drilled if the installer wishes.

The next thing I tried was the full side panels in thin gauge aluminum, but with the nets included. These can also be made from the above material. The nice part about these is you can paint the sides and leave the nets unpainted. It really creates a sweet look. Plus being thin, damage will eventually show just like the real thing.

Let me know what you guys think.

I've only got about 5 minutes since the tires and shocks were installed. Its definitely alot more stable. I also moved all the electronics to the rear and have a 2200mah 3s lipo under the hood I would like to get some aluminum or Ti lower links at some point. With the added power I've began noticing the links twist which really aids in the rig rolling easily.

I've got a few more things I need to address before I can get some real drivetime on the setup.

Got a few window nets done, we'll start the pre-order soon..

Anyone interested in clear windsheilds? I think they look pretty sweet!

Love the windshield sweet idea.

Not really feeling the net.

Love the panels only suggestion is to have them wrap around the front to cover were there should be a fire wall in the front.
