Default Wraith bec settings

Just wired up my castle bec and downloaded the program, wondering what you all have your settings at? I set my low voltage cutout at 4.5 volts and main voltage at 6.5 volts, should I have that higher? I'm running 2s lipos and hitech 7950 servo

You must be using Castle Link??

The CC BEC only does one voltage. I set output to 7.4V because I use 2S lipo and power everything with 7.4V.

If using Castle Link for ESC use Auto lipo and if you have to set cut-off use 3.2V per cell. Lipos can safely run down to 3.2V/cell.

MY BR-XL only has one setting for lipo...I just use Auto.

This is what I have : http://holmeshobbies.com/Holmes-Hobb...ter-BR-XL.html

It has 6V internal BEC.

You can adjust the brake settings and throttle curves and motor timing and some other stuff......

Yeah well unless you have lots of experience then don't mess with it!! My opinion! I am happy with how it works but I am using it in a Kyosho Blizzard DF-300. I want another for my Wraith but am happy with the Axial AE-2 so far.

My lvc is set at 3.5. I'm burning pretty near exackly 80% of capacity running to lvc. 3.2 would be damaging batteries.

Never ever burn more then 80% , confirm your own safe lvc setting not just what I or someone else says

You don't have to be a 10 year Rc veteran to adjust drag brake or timing. Castle link gives a very good description of each setting

Click on the blue question mark.

Watch motor heat if you mess with timing

I font think I'd advance more 5 on a crawler

is this what your timing options looks like. maybe im super smart or something

here i clicked on the cool blue question mark so id get a better idea of what the settings options mean.

maybe just run the reg at its default setting. since this is way to hard to understand

im running drag brake at 100, 0 timing 3.5 lvc, curve is linear(default) revers is 50%, forward 100% brake strength 100. ohh im runing some punch contral to tame my throttle finger some.

theres a few options i havent messed with. throttle curve is one of them and is more of a fast race kinda tuning option

Ha no prob. Haven't been on there again. I set my cut out and whatever the main voltage is called and left every thing else at the default setting for now. I'm gonna run it and see how I like the brake and Etc.

drag brake adjustability is awesome

defaults are meant to make everyrone happy but ofcourse its nice to fine to our own liking.

i havent messed much with timing because crawling could potentialy produce alot of heat at reduced power output like we do when crawling. so i run zero. i have advanced to 5 but noticed no power increase wo went back to zero where my motor runs cold.

timing could elimate a cogging or slightly cogging motor kinda trial and error deal. aswell as start power output.

i used to race motorcross and trust me the factory kx worked much better for me after tuning to my phisical size and riding style. crawling is no difrent
