Default New axles for my wraith

I need a bunch of parts to fix the front axle in my new to me used wraith, the stock housing is worn on the ends where the c hub fits, and someone drilled a few extra holes in it to clock the spindles back farther, the dog bones are worn one side is chewed up from running a broken c hub, so newshafts are needed, it has hot racing spindles on it but they do not hold the bearings very well so those need replaced, pretty much need a complete front axle, as much as I want VP axles I don't have $350 to build one axle, but I have seen Integy complete axles with steering ready to bolt in and go, for $140 any thoughts on them??? anyone have Integy axles or other parts from them?? I'm new to this I just got the truck last weekend, but years ago was into the RC hobby I still have my T maxx thanks for any help you can give me before I spend my hard earned money.

Rc4wd offset axle comes with lockouts for 80 bucks and has good reviews.

Rc4wd front comes with Cs. I couldn't see spending 350 either.

The RC4WD look nice but by the time I buy all the parts to make them complete, I might as well add a few $$ and buy VP axles, not sure what to do now???

The rc4wd axles come with most of the parts you need. The VP axles are going to cost you alot more than a few bucks more for everything...

I'd say if you are trying to keep the budget reasonable buy a stock housing. They are pretty sturdy and I think they are only about 12 or 13 bucks so you could get a spare or two to have around. Replace the dog bones with a set of axial universals. They are not quite as strong as the VP but they are still good and half the price. Last if you need to replace the c-hubs, etc. then get a VP stage 1 kit. The aluminum axle housing and cover and all that stuff can always follow later. That puts you at around $165 or so for the stock housing, universals and stage one kit. Assuming your lockers and internal gears are still in decent enough shape to use for now, that should get you on the road and pretty solid for a while!

Yeah that's what I was getting at. Rc4wd has awesome reviews and comes with extras not included with the VP housing.

Can buy the rear rc4wd and bolt it on use stock inner axles and gears myswell swing for new bearings. All the plastic your left with is the stick diff cover.
On the front you need to buy knuckles Cs come with rc4wd housing.

I'll be doing a rear rc4wd offset housing. My stock gears are about toast so I'll be upgrading them at the same time

There's a guy building a foff rig using rc4wd axles. Its looking very sweet

Shouldn't be more then 200 into a baddass rear. I already upgraded to hot racing lockers. Haven't seen the need to upgrade inner shafts yet.

While your at it you might as well get some bushings to replace the inner pinion bearing and a shim kit to tighten up the mesh. My stock ring and pinion are holding up with the bushing shim combo.

Well I found a guy that is going to sell me both front and rear Integy axles ready to put in and run, even has complete steering link set, hex drives, diff covers lower shock mounts, CVD axles, like I said complete, I can get them for $200 for both axles, and that includes shipping, I guess for that price I'll be a trying them, it will be a few weeks before I get them, but I'll let you know how they are.

Yeah throttlejock27 that Wraith is very sweet!! I love the Jeep body and color you chose. That is a Pro-line body? I wish I had one to try but I also like DC Jeep bodies too.

Thanks, I bought it as a roller and have been building it this winter. The body was actually painted when I got it. Its a burnt orange/red color and looks awesome in the light. I just ordered some king shocks and bgr front bumper for it yesterday. I'll have to take some pics after I get them installed. I believe it is the pro line body

There's a pair of wraith axles with upgrades in the classifieds today, that would be a better buy than anything from integy.
