Anybody have a report on the tires? I just bought a set of the wheels and tires so I hope they work as good as they look..

They grip well in dirt and gravel. I haven't been able to test them too much in rocks yet but they seem so far lke they will do very well on the rocks.

I have been thinking about getting a wraith kit and i saw this one today at our GTG at forest falls. Wraiths are huge! The body looks nice but I don't like rtr painted bodies that look like all the rest.

Does anyone know if axial is coming out with a kit with links, steering, etc, and clear body in this form? I don't want the rtr but i like the body

Bf's not super soft like swampers but did well on this hill climb. U could hear the lugs just biting into the dirt and rocks. Fyi honcho, brand new right out of the box made it straight up,


Just a size comparison, wraith and my 1.9 scx..batt in front is my first mod on wraith.. Next wheel weights. Any suggestions how many oz. for front tires?

I would start with 4oz up front. Maybe 1.5-2oz in the rear.

RPP is actually hosting most of the Poison Spyder Wraith parts on eBay. I wonder if they are getting them from Axial or if they are ripping rtrs apart?

The parts I got from rpp were take offs from an rtr... Tires work pretty good btw I do not think they are r35 but they work pretty good.

When will the kit version be coming out?? The RTR tires being non r35 is a deal breaker for me personally...

I have not seen any inclinations of this being released as a kit. Since the major marketing point on this thing has been the PSC wrap, I would not be surprised if this is not released as a kit.

If they are going to release it, I bet we will see the original kit discontinued first. That would give retailers a chance to clear out inventory before this one would be released.

I wouldn't hold out for it at this point.

You could also run beef tubes and keep the weight out of your wheels. I rc4wd steel wheels with ci little nova foams and my complete mounted wheel weighs in at 5 oz's.

Maybe they could release a higher end kit with metal body shocks etc like the way the scx10 rubi kit is to the dingo kit. They could do a wrangler wraith kit and still keep the standard wraith kit.
