Default Vanquish CVD vs RC4wd CVD

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any experience with the RC4WD CVDs. I realize that RC4WD first set of heavy duty cvds were a failure but what about their V2. It save $15 if i go this route but do they really compare? My stock universals haven't broke but they are so sloppy it's ridiculous. Should i stop being a cheap ass and just get the vanqish Cvds?

IMO, I'd go with another pair of stock universals. Half the cost of either of those and will give the same results.

I've not been impressed with the VP CVDs.....they are far from slop free. They do have slightly less slop than a worn out stock universal....but not by much.

Even the VVD's will ware out over time. Not just the pin and barrell but the yoke too. Then you're back to buying another set again. Nothing lasts forever.

and thats why they sell a rebuild kit. cheaper to rebuild then buy new shafts.
even 300s need to be rebuilt

The yoke wares too. You know, the ball shaped end of the shaft itself. The pin will ware the slot open and the barrel will ware the hole open.

These are a wear item kinda like an air filter.

I'm not positive that VP is any better specially since there main gig is mass produced cookie cutter upgrades

VP inner axles have pretty poor reviews at best. Some give higher then actual reviews because they are blind by the VP coolness

I often wonder if integy had a VP stamp

I have never seen anything but quality from VP. I have their stage 1 kits on both my Dingo and my Wraith. As well as their Ti links on the wraith and yes I do have their VVD's on my Dingo. I have never been disappointed in any of their products.

im not overly sold on the vp parts myself...yes some parts are very cool looking and yes some are parts are better than other brands but..............I think they are abit overpriced for what they are and im surprised at the amount of shelf queen trucks on here that are covered in vp parts when it doesn't even seem like they get used.

that's my 2 cents
