Ok guys tried binding it and the esc still is not recognizing the radio. Could not get anything. Radio just say there blinking the green light.
So I'm leaning towards either bad receiver or esc.
Is there any easy way to test these units without just replacing them? To narrow down which way to go?

Just to keep this current.
Figured out the issue. Had some bad connections when I soldered in my new servo. Cleaned up the soldering and sealed it up with heat shrink and all is well.

Also got my vp Ti links installed, added some pit bulls on steelies.

Couple updates.

What are considered the best foams? I would like to have a set purely for crawling and maybe a set for general crawl/bashing

Also just smoked my stock motor. Was crawling in the backyard and smoke started pouring out and stinking.
I have a new tekin 35t hand wound coming with some 32p gears so ill install those when they get here

Just to keep this updated.
Got an all aluminum body kit for my birthday. Probably paint that up and install that soon, but before I do that I need to install my new motor so I can crawl again. That's pretty much it as its been sitting for the past week while I work on my 1:1, actually taking it wheeling today

Got my wraith back up and running.
Popped in a 55t I had laying around.
Definitely more controllable for crawling. But I also kinda miss my top end.

In other news I took my 1:1 wheeling and came across some decent rocks. So the rock garden got a little better. Ill try to grab some pictures in the day light

Chopped up some cheapo led flashlights to make some lights for the wraith.

Two forward facing and two each in each rock panel.

I'm not real thrilled with the way it worked out just due to the size of the light heads. But ill keep rocking it til I rip one out and decide to redo it.

Actually the only real issue with the size is that there is no good way to flush mount them. What I ended up doing is siliconing them as flush as possible to the belly pan that I have, but there's just not enough grab there so they stick out a bit. Without a specific housing I don't think I could've done any better keeping them mounted without sticking thru. Ill get a picture of what I'm talking about tomoro.

Nope. Not topcad. They are
Walmart Xmas gift special 10 flashlights for $9.99. Then pulled the led pcb out and ditched the rest of the light. Ran some wire and a 9v battery with a the switch that used to control power to the esc.
Bam and done.

Nice looking rig. The aluminum belly pan makes the rig "stick" to the rocks. It actually creates more bind. YMMV

I don't disagree.
Lol. I got the body kit as a present so I am running it for now. But I agree it definitely hangs up a lot more now. I'm sure ill ditch it when I get some better sliders

Painted the body panels and bent up a new hood. The hood that came with the kit didnt clear the battery up front without having a huge gap from the side panels.

Used the same stuff that I used on my full size.
