Default Got a couple questions

So my wraith has a hh brxl esc, cc bec, 35t brood motor and 32p 54/14 gears. My question is that ever since I started building this rig I've been battle burning up motors on 3s lipos but not on a 2s. I'm wondering if any one else has had this problem and what they did to fix it or what motor can handle constant 3s power. I have been searching but haven't gotten exact answers I need thanks!!

you are geared way too high for 3S you need to go to at least a 10t pinion if your are going to use that 54t spur...not sure if it will reach. you may hae to go to a 56t spur and a 10t pinion.

I would try to stay at a minimum of 5.5 to 1 ratio...5.6 would be great with a 3S setup on a 35t motor.

but thats why you are burning up motors...gearing way to high

Volt up and gear down! It will keep wheel speed with the higher voltage from 3s and crawl really nice from the lower ratio. Not to mention it will be easy on your pocket when you stop having to buy new motors.

I run 56/14 on 3s 2200kv. Works awesome and runs cool.

Awesome 56/10 should run really smooth

I'm running a 4 to 1 ratio pinion and spur with the rc4wd 2 speed trans and a 3400 kV brush less 4pole sensored motor. Truck is a missile in 2nd gear and crawls great in 1st. I am running on 3s also. Motor barely gets warm. I'm actually gonna re gear for less speed and smoother crawling / more torque. Having the option of 1st or 2nd gear is so awesome.
