I really thought I did order the shorter ones..MIP10145. Either way, I'm going to try this slash male end from MIP. I saw someone else on here use it for an ultra4 build. Seem to work out for them. |

Just for anyone else who is building a 1.9 wraith. The slash male end works perfect if you need a short MIP. I almost bought a $30 dig shaft before finding these.

Ordered some Crawler Innovations foams for the Rockbeast tires. Also got a bunch of titanium links that closely match the length of my existing ones. These should be a nice upgrade over the all-thread ones. Comparison shot. CI foams left, pit bulls right. Lunsford titanium links.. I just ordered some of those piggybacks a few hours ago. What do you think of the factory springs on them?

I think they are a little too firm. But I'll know better once all the snow around here melts and I can actually get some good RC wheeling time lol. But yea first impressions...maybe a little on the stiff side.

Trailing arms must make a huge difference in stiffness because I'm wanting something stiffer on mine. lol

The only thing I have for comparison is my beat up leaking wraith shock/springs so that's probably why lol. I guess I shouldn't say they are TOO firm. Anyone have any tips for getting better articulation out of a 1.9 wraith? It's probably due to the shorter links up front. Any ideas? |

Might check and see if the balls on the shock ends are maxing out and preventing further articulation. Had that happen to me once, and came up with a creative fix for it using a couple rod ends.

For articulation, trailing arms in the rear and a droop kit in the front that will allow you to use a longer shock. The way your shocks are vertical limits your travel to just the shock stroke. You can try angling your shocks back at the top on the front.

100mm Kings limited with .25" bumpstops in the bottom. I have plenty of flex even with my very short front end links I have trailing arms in the rear but they are bumpstopped as well. Crazy amounts of flex is unnecessary in my opinion. Pull your front shocks off and check the front end for binding. When the links get short the angles on the link ends tend to max out and bind, limiting travel movement |

Thanks for the info. I've checked everything out and I don't seem to have any binding. The suspension flexes well, I think I'm just comparing it to a 2.2 wraith suspension which obviously has a bit more. Finally a sunny 50 degree day that melted almost all the snow! |

Somebody school me on lipo C ratings. What does it mean. What am I gaining? What are the pros and cons of higher/lower c rating? I have been using these that I had from a RC helicopter... I just bought one of these to try out, 60-120c .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The higher C gives you more punch.

| Re: Knuckle Busters 1.9 Wraith Thats what I figured. I'll assume more punch = a little less run time. Going from 30c to the new battery I should expect to see a good jump in performance then. Nice...maybe I'll be pulling some wheels off the ground, lol. Last edited by KBR97; 03-25-2015 at 02:40 PM. |

I have that same battery somehow I killed it. Hope it works out for ya. Turnigy is hit and miss but for the price worth the risk imo.
