| Proline Shock install on my Wraith
As I'm building my Wraith Kit, I purchased some upgrades along with it to install right from the get go. With that, I followed Harley's guide and am using some Proline Shocks, 6063-01 (Rears). I also purchased the Dlux shock ends per Harley's guide as well. As a relative noob I did a lot of searching for the install procedure to make sure I had all the right parts. Land Crab has a nice write up Proline (Slash) shock install.... for the tops which worked great. I wasn't able to find anything on the lower mounts, however. I figured that meant it was a straight bolt in but not so much. So I figured I'd add a post showing what I did for the lowers that work perfectly. As you can see, the Proline ball ends were too wide to fit in the stock mounts. You could spread the plastic enough to get them in but I didn't like the stress that would cause. I pulled the ball end out and found that the Revo (p/n 5347) ball ends snap in perfectly and are a much better fit. Here are a couple pictures so you can see the differences. Proline is the black ball end, Revo is the chrome. Lastly, here are a few additional images to go with Land Crab's write up. One o-ring is slipped over the ball end, the outer o-ring wouldn't stay on the end of the Dlux mount but just putting it around the screw worked for me. As the screw tightens, the o-ring rolls up and around the Dlux mount. Hopefully these help someone. It's probably common knowledge for the more seasoned Wraith guys, but someone new to them, not so much. Craig |

Right on, great write up and great pics. If my Kings keep leaking I will be tossing in a set of Pro-Lines. Subbed |

Does having those O-rings there limit any suspension flex?

No not at all. They are very small and soft enough to give.
