Is it just the top shaft, top gear, spur, and slipper assembly that is required for completion the conversion? Obviously, a shifting servo is also required as well.

Yes. You can take everything you need from a stock trans.

RPP will have them next week. Other dealers should follow as soon as they order...

All steel internals. It is a proven design, will be fine.

Driving smart goes a long way too.

Loving the "gear down" you put into first speed. Should be perfect to match with brushless in the 2200 to 3500kv range.

Exactly what I was just thinking... Big 2.2 rig with a 3500kv on 3s

Got it today. I must say, the fit & finish is awesome. I won't get to install for a couple days.
I'll let you know how that goes.

Runs Like a champ. Very smooth & quiet.

Not sure yet if it will hold up to the Pro4 HD but, around the yard, it's great.
The gear ratios are very low crawl & almost too fast which is just how I like it. You have to pay attention or damage is certain.
I'm using the Spawn "semi scale" interior on this wraith and the servo does touch the bottom of the trans tunnel.
A smaller servo would do the job and might help the spacing.

I've got a HH puller Pro 3300 Kv Stubby hooked up to a RC4wd 2 speed and its a lot of fun to crawl with. Very low end, which you will see here with the SSD also, not sure on the first gear ratio. The two gears are night and day, first is all crawl, second is just lots of wheel spin, can't imagine how uncontrollable it would be on a standard or the yeti style puller pro. Have fun guys

Oh, and keep up the awesome work SSD, I bet this trans is just as beautiful as the diamonds i got from ya.

I need to get one of these ASAP. Does RPP still carry them? And will it hold up to a Puller Pro 3500kv xl?

It is the same height as a stock trans as the gear cover fits.
