Wow!!!! I've been a little skeptical on going to an XR after running my T1E Berg for a while. But after seeing this post...I know what I will own in the future Theres something about the Ytown chassis that just makes it flow over the rocks... Cant wait to see this build go on...you can for sure drive man, and I know youll probably be on fire with this one. |

Wow!!! I love what you've done with the links! I've never seen anyone bend titanium that much before. Looking forward to seeing this in November hopefully! |

more progress! front lowers 110 mm links with revo ends (4.8" e2e) front uppers 110 mm links with revo ends ( 4.65" e2e) rear uppers. 115 mm links with revo ends (4.95" e2e) rear lowers 135mm links with jato and revo ends (5.70" e2e) here you can see how well the bender can replicate bends ( rear uppers) you can see here the amount of clearance i have from the bent front links( belly and side) this will be approx ride height. the rear links are straight at the moment untill i get some longer links, but they will be high clearance and narrow at the chassis. Oh baby!! The way you designed the rear cab to eliminate the bodiless shock hang up point is top notch!! That's a very very well thought out design! Nice work J...can't wait to scope it out at Utah state champs! |

i have the machined piston in the shocks. the golds might even be a little strong for me yet. the car is shaping up to be sub 5lb so we will see if i like it that light or if i will need to weight her up....shock oil after i start driving the truck. the shocks will be limited internal and external from what i can tell.

here is what the finished links will look like in the rear. i will replace the all thread as soon as the longer ti links get here. my reasoning for all the bends is this... i wanted as much clearance as possible, not just under the car but all around the sides as well. my plan is to not have to worry about the links at all. also i wanted the rod ends as close to there center position as poosible so the are not maxed out in there misalignment from the get-go. i figure it will just smooth out the articulation that much more. clearence at ride hieght with pins |

they are all the lunsfords the fronts (uppers and lowers are 110mm) e2e measurements posted earlier the rear uppers are 115mm the rear lowers will be 130mm or 135mm (i will see what works better when they arrive.) again the e2e measurements are different because of the bends. i do have the truck sitting with a slight bit of foward bias on the links.
