Thanks Jeremy, I'll get them on order, although I have some 5 and 6mm stainless in those length I may do some test bends with.

i really wanted to try the 1/16th cab so here it is....i also made a body while i am waiting for a few items to show up.

i know the 1/16th by itself wont hold up on a 2.2 but i i backed the cab section with the body material so it should hold up if i dont beat on it too hard.

now i got windows!

i have the rest of my electronics coming, some upgraded bearings (thanks ol'gravy) and some more vanquish bling...

GOD I"M BOARD!!

If your board work on that V4 BJ please I used your advice and made my V3 in to a V4 today and it worked great but now I know every one in my club will want me to do it, and I rather just tell them to buy one from you.

Nothing like tossing out a chassis if you mess up.

Your truck looks great Jeremy.

I am planning on bending some links, now i know this is home made but what store bought benders is there out there that can bend as tight bends as this one can, if none where can i get my hand on some of those rollers??? Thanks!!

[QUOTE=krawlfreak;2652384]link time.
these things made my H.F. bender go into a corner and cry so the "VIOLATOR" had a stroke of genius and came up with a five minute bender. this thing is awesome....

Thanks a lot looks like a deal for me but just have to wait for that $65 to get into my pocket first lol

What did you use for your link material??

I do plan on trying couple different setups with stock chassis till the v4 is out.
Like a 40/60 and 30/70 or 35/65 you know!!

updates!!

i waited to get this thing going because of all the bearing failures...so i ended up doing the 9mm bearing mod and also replaced all the other 8mm bearings as well.

for electronics i am going with the mamba micros shrink wrapped and the new 614ff receiver from futaba.

while i was waiting for my electronics i made a small battery tray to get the battery up to the front axle....OLD SCHOOL!!

i am planning to not run much weight at all in the wheel so every bit i can get to the front will help with the bias i am after.

even though the new receiver is small, i shrinked it and made it even smaller!

electronics installed

..........and on to the VANQUISH bling!

i made some new tie rods with the revo and jato ends i will eventually make a solid drag link for the car i just ran out of time.

i am working on getting some final weights, and i will post them soon.
