More Noticable? Thats debatable. Like Mr. Magoo said, there are many factors in its placement that affect the overall stability. I feel confident that the rig will be more stable in its current configuration.

If it was mounted to the chassis it would be sprung weight, mounted to the axle or links would be unsprung weight.

Just clarifying.

I see the bolt for the case as a mount. Did you attach it anywhere else as well?

Beetle Juice v4 panels made easy....

On a side note tomorrow should be a great day. I will have some new wheels in my hand along with some VP cases and lockouts tomorrow. God willing of course. Then I will finally be able to install my VP knuckles.

Geebus...I didn't know you hadn't put the VP knuckles on yet...your rig will REALLY wake up then!

After the Turkey Crawl this past weekend I need another set of body panels so I'm looking forward to picking up the set you've cut for me!

Yep. We don't have to worry about this anymore. I am a happy man today! DH Procomp II's and V4's just showed up along with the cases and lockouts!!

I have been on the phone with VP the past couple days working out some details on these and let me tell you one thing; there are alot of great people in this hobby, lots of nice people but Steve@VP is hands down one of the best I have ever talked to. His customer support is second to none. There products alone speak for themselves.

Steve, I applaud you and thank you so much for all your help.

Does your tire rub on the battery at full lock?

i would imagine it does slightly depending on what hubs he is running.

with a narrow dh with 350 hubs i get a very minimal amount with boss claws, and a bit more with the sedonas but nothing that would interfere with steering or performance.

with a full width dh you will most likely have to run a 460 hub.

Yes they rub quite a bit with the current setup. With the VP setup it will barely rub at all. The hubs are as follows: 460 up front on the DH II's and 600's on the v4's.

Got the front case done along with the wheels. I think everything has turned out great so far. VP quality is second to none. The case fit perfectly; no modification required since I am using the straight rod mod anyways. I will finish the rear case later today. Everyting went together painlessly and I finally have tons of steering!!!!! The 460 hubs on the DH II w/ Sedonas put me just over 11". The V4's with 600 hubs on Sedonas are at 10.75".

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
