Very cool servo mount!! One of my biggest grips with the xr is the stock servo location...

If it works out for you..I hope you plan to sell the mount??

Yeah, I am hoping this will not be one of those 'oh well, I tried' things. If it works well, it will likely be offered.

Yeah, the servo horn was just barely visible in the first pic with the battery in the way.

----------

I need to make a new high clearance knuckle attachment to give me more leverage. There is more room between the knuckle and the shock mount than I had anticipated.

Some mo pics...

Interesting.

If it's only attached at the axle on one side, I would be concerned about strength.

(caution brainstorming thought ahead)

Why not build and mount it to the control arm mounts also. Integrate a motor skid with a behind axle mount. Then just attach arms, upper and lower, to it.

It will, once I get the brace cut. The two screws closest to the servo on the gear case will support the mount, via a small bracket.

I appreciate any and all suggestions I can get, no caution needed.
I will look into some type of motor mounted servo mount.

I'm curious how it will work with uppers on and when it's flexing!

That tire combo is looking interesting...did you find the left front gripping ledges less?

Those shock mounts are a great idea...you might want to let the router cool down for a while now!

Good work...keep it up!

Great job Steven. Have you thought about mounting your battery where the servo use to be? Looks like you have a nice flat location for it.
