this way you dont have to de-solder the BEC to re-program it too, save's alot of headache I find.

rig looks good, needs some action shots though
you dont have to desolder you just leave the servo connector on it and use a male micro deans to plug into it.
that plug is on the micro pro i traded him

hmm, when my BEC was soldered to my power leads on my ESC, castle link would not recognize that the BEC was plugged in, so yes, I had to de-solder it to program (now I run plugs on my BEC's)

Yeah, I never have run mre then 6volts through my bec's to the servo. Ofcourse the futaba s9157 is great and runs at 6v and 430in oz. Thats enough torque for me.

Here you go Fred.
The front links are mounted on the outside of the v3 chassis to clear the electronics.

The rear you can see I mounted the links on the inside of the chassis plates. You will also notice that the motor is hiding behind the BWD rear high clearence links.

Thanks man, I'm starting to hate the stock shocks and I know the big bores are better. They also are lighter, I also want to swap the stock gears out. They havent gave me any issues, just want the lighter HD ones. Doing the math to get things lighter is fun. I want to get is about 2 to 3 oz. lighter then get knuckle wieghts when availible. It should make it nice light and stick to the rocks. I also am going to make a delrin motor mounted electronics tray. Once I get the 4pl the wires on the esc's will be shortened, and I wont have that damn novak dig and extra wires. Just dead wieght to me. Next week should be the week that everything is ordered and I start playing with my 2.2 scx10 I want to buy from one of the forum members. I cant stop tweeking shit. I know the rig is great the way I have it, but I wont be happy until the thing is so tuned that I can give the cintroler to someone that I dont know and they can crawl it flawlessly. I did give the controler to a guy that didnt crawl before and he said man this thing can crawl as he went up a vertical and then I showed him front dig and then to switch it to 4wd and went through the gate I setup at the top. The gate was only 14inches wide. I believe in my setup, and if someone thinks I'm crazy they can say it to my face. The rig dosework and that is all I can ask.

That is normal once soldered Fred. All you have to do is plug in a battery and turn your esc on

Once soldered USB does not provide enough power as some gets drawn by the esc. Plugging a battery into the esc resolves that.

Many of the castle air escs require battery to be plugged in to castle link.
