I have everything ready to bolt on. My electronics are ready to go. Shouldn't take me too long to build it up. I have a test and tune area in my backyard that usually has at least one or 2 courses set up. I'll let you know how i set it up.

I plan on taking pics and vids in the next few weeks. I comp twice a week so I'm going to try and get some video at the comps and my backyard rockgarden.

I'm interested to see what you settle on for wheel weight since I am also using the stock wheels.

Build looks good.

Right now I have 3 VP weights in each front wheel and none in the back. I almost think I liked it better with 6 in each front better. It feels like its not sticking as well to the rocks as it used to.

Right now the truck is coming in at 5 lbs. 2 oz. Fully RTR! I was over 6 LBS stock so that's a big weight difference.

I absolutely LOVE the brood motors! They have so much more power and are way smoother than the Novaks I had before!

Here are a few more pics I took today......

Well I've been messing around with the shock and upper link positions, I haven't found the "sweet spot" yet, but I'm getting there. Its just so different for me. So far it was better stock than it is with the Mantis, but i can see the potential in this chassis.

Well I finally got a setup that I'm happy with. I'll share it with you guys in a little bit... I'm running it as a freefloater right now. Here's a video of this mornings run. Make sure to watch it all the way to the end! ;)

Yes I did! :O it didn't work when I first pulled it out, but then I blew it off with an air compressor and it was as good as new! The only thing is now all the wheels have some added weight from all the water .........

Well it's the loosest I've had it yet! I don't think it will loosen up any more than I have it. I still have more mounting positions to play around with, but I'm really happy with it right now!

Have you tryed adding some weight to the front and rear? I will be doing this on the week end to see how it goes. I ran mine again last night and managed to pull the lines I could not on Tuesday without any changes to the rig. I think weight is going to be the defining factor.

Which do you think preferable, wheel weight or axle weight? Why don't you try both and do my homework for me. I'm still waiting on ordered electrical stuff.

You guys are hitting the nail on the head. This is one thing that is taking some extra time on the instructions I'm wrapping up. I've had insanely good results from tuning with axle weight. VP knuckle weights up front and some sven'ish rear slug holders. I'm putting in some long hours finishing this up after being delayed the last week with my daughter's illness.
