Those wheels look great! Might have to pick up a set of those Your crawl spot looks very interesting...are those all modular sections that can be moved around? |

My crawling area is made out an old sidewalk, all the pieces can be moved by a single person. So every now and again I can change it up. I was thinking about getting some cinder blocks to put rock on top of, so as not waste rock underneath. I'll take some better photos lol. | |

Big bores are way cool, very smooth compaired to the stock shocks(it also helps have them bled properly ). Right now I'm playing with different spring setups and also have some JeepinDoug goodies on the way. Quote:

| Re: Matt's Viper XR10
So my JeepinDoug spring retainers and stand off mounts showed up. I have had some different shock setup ideas floating around in my head for quite some time now. I do not like the idea of the shock cap eye laying down as opposed to standing up like you see in most bodiless rigs. You can see how I had a combination of binding from the shock eye to the shock body hitting the hood and the upper links hitting the hood before the spring could fully compess. At full articulation the shock is almost parallel to the ground. Here is my mock up of what I was thinking about doing. Then I added straight uppers from the kit to get rid of that binding issue. Lowering the hood contact point extended my wheelbase so I had to shorten my lowers wich also brought the angle of the shocks up so there not as layed down. This is what I ended up with. The only problem with this is that I greatly reduced the camber of the shocks. So I removed the cone piece from the shock mounts and added a little camber, but then I had binding with the stock shock mount and the cap so I had to replace it with a post. The final result: full spring compression! |

You can drill out the mounting eye on the shock cap just a little and it will hold a revo rod end ball. That will help smooth it up also. |

Not bad. At the end you should have been moving a lot faster given time was running out.

The problem with three is you kept putting your right rear tire in hole/undercut that it would never pull it self out of. You needed to be slightly more to the right.

I have ordered from rc4wd and have never had a problem. Give them a try they might be cheaper than RPP who I have also used quite a bit.
