Default 2012 season rig "The Orange"

so for Christmas i got a new to me xr-10

Parts list:
viper chassis
vp cases
vp motor plates
vp knuckles
vp c-hubs
vp rear lockouts
vp dh v2 with a tuner ring
traxxas big bores
stock rear rims
crawler inovations links
holmes 40t hand wounds
rowdy racing battery mount
stock uppers
gh racing servo horn
hitec 7954
and dual mamba micro pro's

weight is 5 lb's 10.8oz
now on to the pics

That sure does look orange!

Should make Harley proud




Might be worth getting some white links and dying them orange.

I'd even think about a white upper dyed orange.

i think if i take some of the material of the links off they will be white (because i did and under nether was white) and then die them orange

Get white delrin then dye it Orange I believe this is 1 bottle sunburst yellow and 2 bottles of vibrant orange . Thanks to Mustangboy_347 for the dye job.

Well YEA we ran this vs his bully and his bully is real low and it did some crzy break overs that my dads couldnt and it sidehilled about the same if not better then his and the steering OMG huge difference

did some more work on it and found a loose end bell on the rear motor so motors came out and are going to get refreshed (a cut and clean up on them)
and i went in there and moved electronics around and got them lower and i cut a little bit of weight off of it

old weight 5lb's 14oz
new weight 5lb's 10.8oz

Sigh.....possibly. As I get time, I'm looking to redo a bunch on my Bully chassis to help me out a bit.
The XR-10 did go pretty good though, I can't take away from that.

BTW, the motors are HH 540 Torque Master 45T's, not 40T's. They should be getting a recut Wednesday night.

HR gears are not much stronger then stock IMO, I broke HR gears faster then i broke the original stock gears.
