Pretty much, i mount my shocks on the 3rd hole in from the front and it snapped at the 4th hole in, right through the chassis and the extender. It was just holding on by the front cross brace. But it was moving around alot in every direction by about 10mm. When the course was finished I move the cross brace down to hold the shock in place for the remander of the course but there still was alot of Movement.

I should be back up and running in a few weeks.. Should have a new base coming in the next couple of weeks..

Well what a epic year it has been for me...

I managed a 2nd place in the 2012 QLD state series overall, which I'm totally stoked about as it my first real year of serious comping.

So bring on 2013..... time for a rebuild maybe..

Few pics of the last round..

Bit of an update for 2013...

I did a complete rebuild over chrissy for the 2013 season and I also decided to buy some new goodies.

I bought some new HH team pro torque crawler motors. There are 16t with stage 4 weight kit and so far I'm loving these motors. These motors are fantastic.... . Massive thanks JRH for helping me with my motor..

Next i rewired my electronics and moved them up on the front of the skid..

I also got some vanquish cvd's to get rid of that annoying slop in the front end..

At the moment my rig is sitting at about 1946g (4.28lbs).

So far its feeling great, i just have to get some more drive time in after having a break over xmas my driving is a little rusty....

Bit of footage i managed to get...

They were very tough up here OB... everyone dnf on the 4th gate on the first course... The second course was much better but everyone still dnf all over the spot, except for me, I finished the course... but then came the third course which was good but still hard.. Mostly everyone finished this course, especially the heavy rigs which actually blitz it....

In all things crawling its hard to find the happy balance of challenge and complete-ability. Courses that no one can finish typically leave a foul taste in peoples mouths.

I know what you nean Cam, i cant speak for Zeke. Was ok down our way still. Very tough and pushed the boundries. Mainly on time i think . Was a few tough gates early on that zapped time. But being the first round i think everyone including myself had a blast trying.
