Default Is The Yeti XL worth buying?

I was all set to pick one of these up until I saw the videos of the torque twisting and so so reviews of the XL due to the twisting. Anybody regret buying one so far?

I for one certainly do not regret buying this rig. I've been loving every minute of every run.

I was in the market for a fast bashing machine. This mother has filled that void quite nicely. Axial has put out a nice product. It may have a couple "flaws" but nothing that will prevent you from having a blast right out of the box.

Torque twist is comical but you get used to it. Throttle control and no hard rights while on the throttle.

Thanks guys...that helps! I just might pull the trigger.
I know some guys may be impressed by it's size but I've been doing 1/5 scale for years so that wouldn't be a deciding point for me. I want fun for bashing but would like predictable jumping and good dirt oval track performance. Am I expecting too much?

I'm having so much fun with the XL!

I did a home brew sway bar and changed the rear shock fluid to 30wt and it is a dream. It will now do wheelies instead of twisting. On road performance is hurt a little bit but who cares, its a beast off road!

No regret, its a bad machine. Great features you wont find on anything out there. Just plain cool. Its actually nowhere near a 5th scale, the only pic ive seen is it in the foreground of a 5b.... Next to my shortcourse 1/5th scales and 1/4 scale its a midget lol. Hands down one of the coolest out of the box rc's rc's ever though
