Default What bell crank should I choose?

I just ordered a YXL kit and don't know what should I choose between Dhawk and HR bellcrank. Is there any difference between them? I know I have to order the aluminium spacer for the diffs from Dhawk and the MT4 wheels, is there anything else mandatory for a new kit?
Thanks all!

I got the DHawk and NO problems and took less than 2 weeks to ship to way south texas. I have made 4 more orders since then and all arrived in less than 2 weeks and everything was top notch as far as fit and quality.

+1 Dhawk stuff is really good. I have the bellcrank, front diff case, spacers and rear driveshaft. All good stuff. Took about to weeks to get to North Texas. Apparently they have great shipping to Texas. lol

I have the dhawk, took about a week and a half, easy install, huge difference even with the stock servo. Highly recommend it!! I ordered the kit off eBay with the steering posts.

I too can attest to the Dhawk. I will say this. I needed to do a little sanding on the front edge of it because it was hitting the bulkhead at lock. Other than that, I really like it.

Well, it seems dhawk is the winner. I also prefere the dhawk, considering the pictures, seems to be much beefier. I will order it, together with the diff spacer and bearings. And at some point probably the rear drive shaft. I still have to figure the servo out, I don't think I'll spend $100-150 on a savox, futaba or hitec. Maybe some Turnigy, what do you think?

I almost purchased a Turnigy and/or a Solar Servo D772 when my Spektrum burned out. Most of the Turnigy's (at the time) shipped out of the international warehouse and I didn't know how long it would take to get to me. Solar Servo D772 quality seemed a bit sketchy to me.

Since I couldn't drive my YXL w/o steering, I ordered a Savox 2270 from Amazon (Prime shipping) and it works really well.

Do you have a BEC?

Yes, I do have a bec. But I don't think I will use it. But for a different reason, not why you think ;)
More details after mid september. I liven in Romania and a friend will bring my yxl from US early september. I have something in my mind, hopefully I will manage to figure it out. However I will still need a servo

Keep us posted on the Turnigy servo. If it works well I'll get some for backups.

Post pics of a YXL bashing it up in Romania!

I just ordered a Turnigy TGY-DS3509MG together with aluminum one-way universal servo arm 151000136.
Next in line are bearings 15x21x4 for front diff, I'll get them probably from Acer or Avid, at Boca they are rather expensive, and I don't know what to do about rear drive shaft. Should I get one from Dhawk or wait until I'll broke the original one?

Replace it right away. I'm pretty sure it's why my rear end blew up today. It twisted and was binding and putting a big side load on the bearings and horrible retainer.

Does anybody knows or can measure the width of the Dhawk diff spacer? If I'll it order from Dhawk, it will take forever to get it to Romania, so I'm thinking to use a stock bearing (if it is thin enough) together with this Vespa ET2 50cc Pre 2000 Variator Shim Speed Up Set 15mm | eBay

Just ordered GPM (aka Dhawk, or vice versa) parts from asiatees
GPM Racing Axial Yeti XL Aluminium Steering Assembly - 1Set Blue YTL048
GPM Racing Axial Yeti XL Aluminium Steering Mount - 1Pc Set Blue YTL049
GPM Racing Axial Yeti XL Aluminium Steering Post - 1Pr Set Gun Metal YTL048A
Just save $12 (no bearings, indeed, but I'll have the ones from the kit)
Also I decided not to go with Dhawk spacer, but to use a third bearing as spacer together with this
Vespa ET2 50cc Pre 2000 Variator Shim Speed Up Set 15mm | eBay
That way I'll have some spares if I'll ever need them
And, of course, rear driveshaft
GPM Racing Axial Yeti XL Steel #45 Rear Drive Shaft - 1 Pc Set Black YTL237S

Dhawk drive shaft and bellcrank installed on a RTR Yeti XL. What an improvement! Also installed an aluminum servo horn and metal linkage there, then had to trim plastic, but it's much tighter steering.
