Haha I knew someone would say that. Thats just the model name, I haven't changed it since I first set it up. Look at RX, thats the volts and thats definitely not 4s. Plus 51 mph on 4s would be ridiculous.

Nice! I've been curious what kind of speeds have been clocked on 6s these days. I've been running 6s as well but don't have the means to check top speed. I just know it's fast!

I just looked up that radio. Very nice set up. I really like it. How is the telemetry range? GPS in the RX..GREAT idea! I like my RCs to have gadget/techy/gizmo stuff on them. They don't "need" it but I enjoy that stuff a lot. I didn't even know Hitec had anything surface that was that nice. I just put a new door on my rock so I will be getting out from under it more often.

It has failsafe built in as well so you it will set steering, throttle and/or aux 1 and 2 to hold position or return to 0 if connect is ever lost. Ill try and get a range test done.

Im running a castle fan on motor and temps weren't really a noticeable difference when I changed gearing, so its under geared from factory. You can see what the motor temp is on 6s in 1st post. Most I've seen is 170 on 6s when I first got it and that's perfectly normal. 200-210 is still fine but 220+ isnt good. Fan on esc, I don't ever realize if its ever on which is good.

104 MPH, 56 T x 20 T gears, XL2 x 2200 1515b with a water cooling jacket, 200 cc radiator, 300 cc reservoir 9V 2 liter per min water pump, on 4S, a few aluminum hop-ups, some modification like 30% lowered shocks with kit springs, center differential, reinforced front shock towers and stiffer rear shock bridge, add on's like 20 mm front wheel spacers, Genessis wheels and tires and tessman servos. Temp readings 120 ESC, 145 motor, 130 coolant and 140 at the wheels. Total build cost $850, total repair cost after it hit a couple of scattered pebbles $1178, not so feasible rebuilding considering it took just 8 mins of practice runs to destroy 3 months 26 days total build time. The agony of not capturing on video and the horror of seeing it tumbling on the asphalt could not over shadow the thrill of 8 mins of bliss, will I rebuild and go faster ... probably not on both counts. I was aiming for 90 and got 14 more, I'll leave that for the others who have deeper pockets, I saw, I built, I conquered I still have 3 YXL to play with and its time to move on to the next.
