I could be wrong but I doubt Dubro will make a crawler that can meet our expectations. Most likely it will be mainstreamed to be more appealing at time of purchase then on the rocks.

Right now I think anything but an ultra4 would just not fit in the line up. Yeah SCT is big in the go fast section of rc and it wouldn't hurt getting those guys paying attention to Axial but I think it would be a poor fit in the line up like the exo has been. Even pre jeep orgy Axial the exo seems like a Losi type rig. Imho. The color combos really are 80's mini truck though.

Oh crap! Just had a f'ed up thought. What if its a riced out Drifter with one of those color schemes? Maybe they think they need to branch out to a new market.

essentially that would be just a ultra 4(IFS/SRA) with a truck body though. hmm perfect for remarketing the same vehicle.....

Eventually it will be 2 new rigs.. first will be a 1.9 U4 TwinHammers 'Killer' and then they will come out with a Wrexo type rig using existing front EXO and Wraith rear and a new Wraith/EXO style chassis

wouldnt surprise me at all if they just mated the exo ifs to a wraith rear. relatively low cost to produce if they source parts that are aleady on the shelf.

im just hoping the in-between has something new in it.

Yup. From a cost/benefit perspective, they could get 3-6 different vehicles from two IFS/SRA chassis

-3 vehicles based on the old SCX axles
-3 vehicles based on the new Wraith axles

Only new tooling needed would be designing the chassis. Everything else is from the existing parts bin EXO front end, possibly a new front bulkhead and A-arms to match the width of whatever rear axles they plan to use.

Anyway, just speculations from all of us at this point.
