Just received this, a real piece of art!
Too bad I'm travelling, won't be able to mount it on the chassis till June.

Awesome chassis. Can't wait to see more once you get back.

Limit straps are to short but if you get creative you will find locations, does take a lot of travel out though. Tried to contact cossey mfg. but to know reply, have a feeling they know all to well, and have been told a lot. Like I said they won even respond, GREAT customer service.

Glad to see it's finally made it's way home. Sorry you have to wait until June.

I've started to install the chassis. Still missing some parts, like the rod ends for the rear links. Electronics are set up. Need to cut some Lexan for the body panels and to paint the scale accessories.

Almost done... but as I tried the truck for the first time, front and rear went opposite direction (front went forward/rear backward)
I thought I just reversed the front gears and I put them back in the opposite position, I've tried again and it seems it all goes backward now (nothing to do with TX reverse setting)
What am I doing wrong? I can't have the Currie back axle in the opposite position... any idea?

Going in reverse is much faster than forward, also while pushing the trigger forward, there's a small delay before the car starts (like when you usually go in reverse...)

Panels look great. Sounds like you need to change your motor direction to "Reverse" on the MMP.

Can't find this setting on the MMP, do I need the USB or Field link?

Hi utieh,
really looking nice, a question regarding the MIP center shaft you've put in :
2015-07-04 13_33_23-UCFab U4 Yeti - RCCrawler

Is there enough play between the shaft and the steering bracket ?
Do you still have the part # of that MIP shaft ?

Yes a couple mm of distance between the MIP and the rack, I think they were originally made for the SCX10, they are quite heavy so I might go back to stock.

I don't see how to solve this reverse problem, I'm not even sure the Castle Field link is compatible with the version of my ESC, so I'm going to order the SSD rear link and sell the Currie.

Swapping any 2 of the 3 wires going to the brushless motor will reverse the direction that the motor spins, should fix your problem without reprogramming the esc

Not on a sensored motor. When running sensored the wires have to be a-a, b-b, c-c.

You can reverse rotation with the castle link, and your computer, and keep the currie. I would sooo keep the currie.

You can use either. I have a field link. To change this setting you will need to hook your field link up to a laptop with castlelink s/w.

Can't I use it without a PC? Castle don't have a Mac version of their software.

I've heard it works but it's not a good idea on a sensored motor.
