Took the U4 Yeti to El Mirage, with the 3S 5000mAh, run time is still a bit short (5-7 minutes).
It was quite hard to manage to get it not to do rollovers, even at mid-speed and a low ride height. (running stock springs rear and some slightly firmer ones from stock up front, (shock oils are 40wt front and 30wt rear)

I agree you need to look into your drive train and see if there is a bearing or something binding. I'm getting 30 min plus doing many full throttle runs on my 4S 5450 pack.

That's really strange, gearing is stock, the rig is really heavy though, I'll check the transmission tonight.

Great pictures, as for the short run time, also try another battery. That 3S might be fubar'd.

I am running a 3s 5000mAh 35C and I get 40 mins runtime with plenty of WOT runs! I actually have two packs that I take with me when I go bashing. I rarely make it to the 2nd pack because I typically break something, lol

Maybe you are not charging your battery properly.

I run a 3s 4300mAh 45C and I get about 55mins with LOTS of full-on throttle and lights running continuously. 10mins runtime sounds dangerously wrong!

This rig looks awesome. But i cant figure out how that cage mounts to the chassis. I see the two posts behind the battery tray and two more going toward the front diff/ shock tower area.
I love the look of the cage but how is it attached? And how do you access the battery now that it doesnt hinge?

The cage is attached with 4 screws (2 on the stock front shock tower, and 2 on the rear battery tray), then you need to remove the 4 upper shock mounts and sway bar (not needed if you simply have to change the battery)

Oh wow it it IS just mounted by those 4 screws. Seemed kinda unstable now that the cage is effectively part of the chassis but maybe its just the pics.

How are tou liking the ofna frot end? Looks like you can run some nice negative camber without worrying about busting a uni!

Front end is all YEti parts, chassis holds up pretty well, it's really rigid.

Same cage and different chassis from another customer, those also are Yeti components (RPM arms and DLux knuckles)

I am curious about your Currie problem, was it that the front wheels were going forward and the rear were going bacwards? Or was it a speed issue?. The front differential needs to be flipped when using the Vanquish Currie axle bacause the currie diff is on the opposite side as the OCP ar60 axles. As for your runtime, you should contact Holmes Hobbies or maybe try rebinding your radio and resetting all your endpoints to factory defaults, then re-calibrating to make sure they are set right. One thing that could be going on is you have the active drag brake, or "holmes hold" or on and set too high and the motor is drawing power to actively hold the vehicle on a incline or when you let off the throttle.

WOW that is one sweet yeti. Didn't read every post but I'd definitely check out the esc settings like van ^^ suggested if you haven't already, and/or try using someone else packs or charger if you can to make sure your packs/chargers working properly, good luck.
