Super cool to see that many show up for Thursday. I made good on the promise to take a dremmel to the rear of the Cruiser. I'm restructuring it so the tires don't get jammed so bad.

Hopefully I'll be finished by Tues-Wed of next week.

Happy Wheeling

My rig is ready so I am down......

I would actually like to do Linda Vista, Vasona, Almaden res. or Greystone. I have yet to see "just a little bit of carnage" at Mini-Hammers. Its unreal how hard on rigs that is! I think out of 7 rigs that went last Thurs, 6 broke!
Don't get me wrong, the place rules, I am just stumped at how to get through that beast unscathed with my 1.9 scaler????

What time do you have in mind? Some places we would have to vacate at a certain time. Greystone and Almaden res are open all night!!

I want to check out those other places, but Linda Vista would be the easiest for me tonight. Meet us there. Yep the Hammers and I have not gotten along well the last two time I have been there. The motor for last week was crazy. It completely melted off one terminal and both wires came un-sodered from it. All these years I have never seen that happen.

Cant make it tonight. Having some problems with finding a motor that will run 12v. I dont want to go with the Integy again and the higher end motors all seem to run on 7.2 v....Any suggestions for a motor would be appreciated. I am toying with trying the HPI 550 GT that runs up to 14.4v..

I bought some voodoo juice and cleaned out the Integy motor after re-greasing the tranny and diffs...Runs like a champ....Anyone got plans to go wheeling Aug 2-7? Let us know!

Jim

I might be down for Thursday night. Somehow I need to find a way to keep the smoke in the rig and not let it out. I'll post up again if I will make it.
