Got out there later than I wanted, ran for about 30 min, then broke a U joint on the front drive shaft... one day i'll get all the worn parts replaced then i'll have a brand new rig, or i'll have worn out the first parts I replaced and start over.

For a good cheap fix run the part number 1953 traxxas drive shafts. For bullet proof drive shafts run the MIPS.

Lake Wohlford....
I was planning on going to Wohlford Saturday. Not sure what time yet. Need to see what mods or repairs I need to make before the comp.

Default Sunset Cliffs

I took my Honcho to Sunset Cliffs today, there is lots of places to crawl out there. I parked at the south end of sunset cliffs blvd. in the parking lot.

No, but I came across a bitchen spot by the 54/805 during a bike ride. A good spot to park is at Plaza Bonita mall:

There's a bunch of other areas in the river basin north of there also, check the satellite view. The inclines aren't too steep and most of the rocks are cemented in place. Looks like a killer place for scalers.

I live in Chula Vista. The spot at Plaza Bonita is ok. I tried to get that added into our roster of spots just was not enough technical stuff for competition but probably great for scalers. A better spot is in Otay Lakes right where the upper Otay dam is. Great crawl spot just not enough parking to hold a comp. Here is the link below to it. Just be careful of the rattle snakes but that goes for most places we crawl...
