I've asked around... The word is to wait until after nationals, that is where the leadership of SDRCRC is focused. After that things should get fired up again...

There has been a few gtg over the last 3 weeks with a few of us. They have been posted. The season will be starting in the winter. Too hot and too many of the members are busy in the summer.

I do believe I offered $20.
Saturday is a standard. Most of the guys/gals have families and Sunday is family day usually.

Hey looking to do some scale running with some San Diego'ers drove down from Nor Cal for vacation and staying at Miramar MCAS till at least friday the 10th

I usually have about 3 hours to myself while my son takes a nap. If anyone knows any good places nearby or pretty close I'm down to go. Nap time is about 11 am to 2 pm.

My rig is a K2-3L with a 2 speed tranny. I have 2 stick packs and 2, 8 cell packs. Will bring a St def Go-Pro also.

PM me or call my cell if your down 707 290 nine958

Gula, one of our favorite spots to crawl at is Lake Wohlford, in Escondido. It is both scaler and comp friendly. It's about 25 minutes from where your at. If your looking for something close try canyonside. If you search in this section you should be able to find maps to these spots. My work schedule is full for this week, so I won't be able to join you. Hope this helps you out. -Glenn

Went to Torrey pines glide port as (prifral) suggested. Was pretty cool and scary at the same time. Man those cliffs are high. If you lose control on one of those descents your rig is history, well you may find a few pieces after hiking for a couple of hours.

Good you got to check it out. Yeah some areas near the bluff should be slow rolled unless you have a parachute Take any shots w/your GoPro? Hope you had time to explore and see these areas: vid from 2 weeks ago-> Unimog w/new TSL's

Damn!!!! Should check this thread more often. There is a great place to crawl down on Point Loma at the Submarine base, it's not too popular because you have to have base access, but if you can get on to Miramar you should be able to get on to the Subase... Something to keep in mind if you are back through here...
