Since I don't have a build thread or anything, figured I would show my bit of fun today...

Before. Painted the body. Took the look from Bill's rig (primer) and then took the look of, "I had an accident and just got new replacement parts, they're black, want to run so I will install them and go..."

After blasting through the mud for a bit.

Trikster vbmenu_register("postmenu_718974", true); looks like your truck had to get new door and fender after that spill at the river

smokinu....hopefully it will work out.

every one should pitch in a car batt so we dont have to climb up that damn hill every time we need to charge a batt....my step dad had the idea of getting like 3 car batts, and hooking them up to a ac converter and run a 100 foot extention cord....through that down the hill, and plug up a charger .....my 69 bug has a battery....thats 1...need 2 more

Or you could just get a 4200 mA battery like I use and run for hours. Also, most of us charge with DC straight off the battery. So bring your battery down the hill and all's good.

Yeah, I was going to say get a high capacity battery and not worry about it for the day. I have two packs that together hold about 5k mAh so I can easily run for the whole day and then some.

CHECK IT OUT!!!!!! It's in really good conditon. It weighs a TON. it has all 3 of the servos, reciever, reciever pack, and radio, and i'm still finding stuff i didn't even know came with it. And the front headlight is there too, but it fell out in the box. And it smells weird.

I will be the first to say that I am:

1. VERY F-ing JEALOUS!

2. Glad you got a nice rig and didn't get screwed. Looks to be in awesome shape. Just needs a bed mount for the rear. About $10 on ebay.

Nope, i got the bed mount. It wasn't installed though. It was taped onto the body and the front and rear bumpers are there too, but not on. Before i can do anything i need matching plugs to get power to it. Then i will probably find other things that i need. Right now i just want it to be in running condition and go from there. And there is no cracks on the body or on the winshield, just a little crack on one of the rear lights.

Actually, it smells like a mix between perfume and oil. It was a girl that sold it.

I have no clue. She kept it in good shape though. I don't think it has been run in a few years. She probably kept it for a while and decided that she could sell it.
