| Sac Area Crwalers June 17 gtg
this is where the next get together shall be. By making it on Sunday, I am hoping to get more of the people want to come out but are usually to busy on Saturday. Just an idea, if fewer show up then it's back to Saturday. 9 am some info from the last thread as cited by 1tom2go. "The American River Confluence, near Auburn, where the North and Middle Fork come together. We will park on the Cool side of the hwy 49 bridge to Cool. (The first turnout near the gate) To get to the rocks, cross the road and find the steep trail down towards the river. (The trail is narrow and steep)" video of the last gtg just to give you an idea of the fun factor of this spot. We will do some follow the leader type crawling. We will set up some cones to make it interesting, the cones will be scale friendly as well as the more challenging lines for all out crawlers. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...90992177816711 Last edited by rockhugger; 05-21-2007 at 08:11 AM. |

You planning on keeping the 3-speed or going with something like a Pede tranny? If you go with a Pede tranny, pick up one of Chino's tranny mounts from Fat-Rock. They are a very nice piece and cheap @ $25 (I believe). Gives you a nice skid-plate and mount in one.

Well, the washer thing for my wheel didn't turn out to good. It fixed the wheel coming off from slipping through the nut, but now the nut only has a few threads to grab on from the thickness of the washer. I will try to find a skinnier washer, or i might be able to make something but hopefully i don't have to buy a new rim.

I fixed my wheel problem. I actually read the directions. There were directions that came with the wheels, along with the hex's to use and the spacers. somehow i missed those. But i found out that i cracked the front axle casing, so i have to get another.

| HARDCORE!!! Your problems are worthless withour pictures. that's what you get for your one point. I spared the fire and and just smacked your crawler on the rocks a few times instead. of course while you weren't looking |

And pics wont do anything, i can barely see it but it is messing with the rear lockout and the rear wheel is wiggling. At least it isnt' on the front axle. | |
