Such a clean and slick lookin conversion, very nice!! How does this measure up and compare if the rear is an SCX10 axle on 1.9s? Would love to buy one today!

Probably Sent Sitting On The Toilet...

Just ordered up a spool for the exo locker. Preparing for a Yeti delivery a little early.

That's what I did originally, but Jerry @ the DMG informed me of a failure of one like that on his rig so I wanted a solid one-piece unit.

I have the BM spool but it doesn't work with the mip shafts, I had clearance issues with them hitting the rpm arms early. Was really limiting my articulation.

The 6mm is a great option. With the Yeti inbound you better make lots of extras

That's exactly why I'm wanting to order one of those beast 6mm spools for my yeti when it comes out. Pm'd and sent him an email off his website and so far no word. I'm thinking he's super busy

This is an issue between MIP and RPM arms, mine do the same thing. Possibly if the tangs are longer it would help, but I haven't looked at it that closely yet. I may make another 5mm shaft that's longer and see if it helps. Or I will relieve arms at that spot.

That's what I did when I ran the RPM arms. I use the aluminum ones now.

i still have a few 4340/4140 blemished spools left (2 extra "speed holes"). $15 each.
I would like a 6mm spool please.

just a ?
about your 6mm output locker.
most of the ring gears I've seen - only have 5mm pass thru hole on them,
do/will U have to bore out the ring hole to get that 6mm locker shaft to go thru the ring gear ??

I've try to bore out the hole in a HD ring gear - that was vary hard to do !!

Yes it would be no different than using SDS shafts. Just use a carbide burr on the dremel and you shouldn't have any issue.
