Great job again HAM, and congrats to Kimi! There were some great battles, but nothing like last years epic race. At least the Renault power unit put on a heck of a show at the finish...

It was the first GP my son watched with me from lights out to checker. Memories made, Bahrain 2015!

I kept thinking last year's Bahrain race was really boring, and was expecting this one to be also. I was reminded it wasn't.

Kimi is the starting machine, and the race machine. Only a matter of time.

VET put in a year's worth of mistakes in one race.

RB and Renault have got to be flipping out.

Too bad for BUT. Good job ALO. Getting there.

Too bad for MAS but he came back up pretty strong.

Maldonardo is still a retard.

I"m liking the Vettel, Kimi combo.
I find myself cheering for them to get to the front and race it out.2 fastest laps of the race: Ferrari!!!!!

It's easy for team mates to work together against a common enemy. Once defeated, one's teammate becomes the enemy. See MB. It will be cool to watch VET handle this. He's either been the clear #1 or clear #2 driver over the past 5 years. Ferrari rank has yet to be sorted out. I just wonder if the extra year RAI spent with Ferrari has resulted in a car slightly more tuned to his liking.

Good guess, but I just think the Ferrari is working much better than last year and Kimi can actually drive now.

Rosberg has got the DRS open and is closing in fast on Vettel, he's along side Vettel, he's going for a, "whhooeeeheheooehweweoah"!

oh and by the way,

Coincidence or planned "get-by" for Riccardo at the end? Its strange that this happened in Shanghai to VER, and again in Bahrain to RIC at pretty much the same point. Almost as if the Torro Rosso gayraje saw the issue, changed computer mapping and what-nots just to get the kah across the finish line.

discuss.

I don't know actually. I have thought about it for a second but I'm not a RB or Renault hater or liker so I just can't really form an opinion. It could be a sack job, but why would they do that? When I do think about them I think more about Adrian Newey's smile because he probably feels pretty good about his decision. Mark Webber is smiling too, as is Vettel. Christian Horner is probably so pissed off they won't even stick him on camera anymore. And RIC is good at hiding behind his smile.

And so is Button, but he almost cracked the other day in an interview.

Great Pics EP.

ALO looks like an angry shark, the spark show is cool, and I need to get my eyes checked because I had to screen shot the HAM pic and open it up still to read what it said...

Flying bits of titanium, cause we can afford that.

There was one in board camera moment with HAM and you could hear the car scrapping under heavy braking into T1. Constant scraaaaaaaaaaaaaape. So I'm wondering, unless the floor is so flexy, doesn't their suspension/weight transfer go infinite at that point? There's still gonna be individual tire movement, but the rest of the car is bottomed out. Gotta be a flexy floor.

Yeah suspension wise they are totaly different to a ( normal car )
I,m only guessing but i,m thinking suspension can,t be effective with the amount of downforce they generate , maybe tire and chassis flex do the majority of low speed work and then when the downforce comes up it effectively stiffens the chassis and then the suspension basicaly takes over.

Hey Loon. Maybe it's why they have 13" wheels and want all that tire sidewall.

Exactly
I don,t know why but tires seem to handle downforce
Were as suspension just gets squashed by it , as a result it has to be that hard it is useless at lower speeds .

There is a huge chance i,m wrong but coz i usualy am

Realize even though the chassis is bottomed out, each tire still has up travel. The spring rate above that point still has an affect. I just can't grasp including a bottomed out chassis as part of my tuning.

I reckon an hour in the pits examining one of them things would make 99% of car nuts heads explode , mine included.

And i think its more witchcraft than tuning
