My Daily driver 95.5 Tacoma 6" Fabtech, 4:88 gearing 315-75-16 Procomps and other goodies. I have a Detroit locker yet to be installed. Ya I could go SAS, but I'm not a hard core wheeler, just the occasional weekends. It get's around good enough OK, I know my project isn't another 4x4, but if you can appreciate hard work, then you might appreciate what I'm trying to do with this car. If you are interested, here's a link to the build up from day 1 almost 2 years ago. http://my86build.blogspot.com/ Here's day one; and an older picture from a few months ago. |

My weekend racer/fun cruiser Jeep. Much faster than it looks. Built AMC 401 and lightened just a bit. Converting to a 2wd front end setup this winter and shooting for high 12's on slicks. I'm getting rid of the side exhaust so it will look and sound 100% stock too. Summer daily driver '86 Monte Carlo SS. Car is bone stock 5.0 HO 4bbl and 3.73 gears. Gets 24mpg. Winter beater is a '92 caravan. |
