A hotrod fullsize jeep, now there's something I would have never thought of. Needs woodgrain trim though, haha. I had an 85 but it was slow and heavy.

How heavy was your '85? Mine currently weighs 4220 with full interior and operational 4wd. Hoping to get in the 3800-3900 range when it's all said and done. Woodgrain wasn't an option in '76. Besides, I have WAY too much into body work to cover it up with vinyl. However, there is a guy running around with a turbo'd Indy headed 401 in a stock looking woodgrain Waggy. And there's a guy in WV running 11's in a '73 Wagoneer.

Mine is a 99 Tacoma! Can't beat a Toyota! All I have in mine is a Lock Rite Locker up front with some 31" BFG MT's and a Warn Brushguard. That one dent is from Moab, that one is from Montana, those are from Tellico, TN and that is from Holy Cross City Trail in which I only made it up about 100 yds before I had to back down.

| My 2 "TOYS"
Hey Guys, Heres pics of my 2 "TOYS"... The Black 03' Rubicon is my DD. 4" lift, 1" BL. 4.0, Auto, 33" Swampers ( not pictured) . The next pic is of my pride and joy.. Its a fully restored/Modified 1951 M-38 Willys Jeep . EVERY nut bolt, and screw has been replaced. Dana 25 front, Dana 44 rear, both with 4:88's with Lock-rites. Its got a 6" lift, and 33" Swampers. I put a ported and polished small block ford 302 V8 in it, and it gets up and GOES when you mash the throttle..!!! When I'm not building custom R/C Crawlers, I'm building the 1:1 real things..!!!!! |
