My girlfriend hated her friend's boyfriend...his name was Chad. She called him "The Dud", which of course became Chud. I started using C*H*U*D as my online gaming name, and would email my girlfriend screenshots whenever I had the highest score (which was often) and say, "See, C*H*U*D's not such a bad guy". I kept using the name for all the online games I play. When I joined RCC, I couldn't think of anything else to use so I used C*H*U*D. To this day my girlfriend hates my RCC name. |

Contrary to what most people think, my screen name isn't from Killswitch Engage... I was the pit man for a buddy in the on road nitro A-main at one of the first HPI Challenge races that came around here years ago. He rolled into the pit lane for fuel, I grabbed his car by the handle that was tucked uner the body through the windshield hole and my Mechanix glove hit his on/off switch and killed his receiver power. I fueled it and set it down and he had nothing. Now I'm forever known as killswitch.

Mine's a lot like robbob's... Back when I worked in a warehouse, I was the third Matt to work with the receiving lead at the time, so he started calling me "Matt version three", and eventually just "version three" I figured it was better suited as an online handle than his other nickname for me... "devil" (he never did tell me why though) |

Mine is very boring. It is my work apex ID. They are all 8 characters long starting with your last name and finishing with your first and middle name initials. What I like is it is unpronounceable. Brazwell Wesley Neal BRAZWEWN |

Mines pretty simpile, back when the Losi mrc came out I got one and everytime I drove it in the house it always would break so I came up with with Fallin Apart, that and it seems like everything I drive any of my truck's they almost will allways brake

I was having a crappy day at work, (you tend to have lots of those in Iraq.....) and I ran across a can of this stuff. I just could not stop laughing. It must have been the heat. I had been lurking here for a while, so Team Tactical Bacon was born.

All my old riding buddies dubbed me "garage door bob" (occupation and name) Then I guess it was too long or somthin' so they shortened it to "gdb", it stuck for years and "85" is the year I got married!

| Wasn't there also a dud of a B-movie called Cannibalistic Humanoid Undergorund Dwellers (C.H.U.D.)? Maybe she just hated the movie. Mine came shortly after I got my e-Maxx. Figured e-rubble was gonna sound stupid, so I changed it to Trubble. There's the loose connection to t-Maxxes stomping around creating rubble, and the oh-so-familiar pronunciation of "uh-oh, here comes trouble." Edit: Some pretty good stories, (a) rather creative lot has assembled here. Last edited by Trubble; 08-01-2011 at 01:04 PM. |

Mine is pretty simple........my first name is Eddie, though my last name does not start with an O as many think. The O comes from my baseball team. We used to listen to KPLZ on the way home from games on the bus. They had a dj named BobbyO........a few teammates started calling me EddieO............and it stuck. Team Brood came from a game called Motor City Online. It was the club I was in, which had the most popular fansite in the game. During my struggles to come up with a name for my RC company, my wife was like "why not use the MCO one since you already own the website".........women is a genius. Later EddieO |

| There is and many people thought that's where I got the name, but the true story is above. I spelled it wrong though which was a good thing since there are a lot of people that use c.h.u.d. like the movie, but I've never seen it spelled like mine.

Jk but I wish it was because it would be more interesting lol but I just made it up, everyone though keeps telling me they're a demonoid also which confuses me lol |
