Hows the trigger pull on the 10/22 bullpup conversion? The ones I've seen in the past had a lot of slop in the trigger.

Good deal, looks like it's the most versatile also so that's probably what I'm leaning towards.

Its just a owb kydex holster. Raven just charges a premium for their name, and stupid long wait times.

In my opinion any kydex holster maker that is cheaper, and has a 1-2 week lead time is a far better choice than raven concealment.

Look at tcbfirearms.com for kydex holsters. Hes a good guy in AZ.

Snipers are cool!

I love the tech that goes into using a long range sniper..... Wind velocity and direction, earths curvature and what not...

Raven has a lot of instock stuff nowadays for popular makes. But I'll check out TCB also, thanks.

Check out Black Point Tactical, they are a local holster maker here in Georgia. I have 2 of their holsters (OWB/IWB) and love them.

Looks like the leather wing and some accessory loops to pull it up a bit higher is the hot ticket. And what a great idea on that holster design. Thanks chicklet!

I've been wanting one of these for a long time, finally pulled the trigger on a refurb from R&L. It's a Benjamin Marauder PCP air rifle. Bolt action, 10 round mag, and pre-charged so you simply rack the bolt and keep shooting until your POI shifts. For this gun, at full power I should get around 40 shots, and dialed back for target shooting around 75 shots before having to pump again. Every single thing on it is highly adjustable, from velocity to the 2 stage trigger. Sub MOA to 50yds, just over that at 100yds. Best part is, it's made right here in the USA!

I will run it through the chrony tomorrow to get a baseline, then plan on tearing into it to record all factory settings, then I will do the bstaley buffer mod and will be tuning for a 2500psi fill with light pellets at a lower velocity for target shooting for the warm months. Then will either convert to .22 for tree rat / wabbit season, or just run a heavier pellet and dial the velocity back up. I'm so excited (yes over an air rifle ), you have no idea, on to the pics.

Unboxing

Ready to go, other than a barrel cleaning

CP 4-16x40mm
Accushot rings
Caldwell pivot bipod
Alan neoprene sling

Well after parking the bike I got out the Mrod and the chrony and started tuning. I think I need to take some tension off the hammer spring to flatten out the shot string a bit, but I"m pretty happy so far.

2400psi fill, shot down to 1700psi
7 full mags, or 70rds
Started out right at 760fps, and last shot was at 727fps shooting crossman premier 10.5's

I have a much better fill hose that should be here tomorrow, and I'll report back how many pumps it takes to get back to 2400psi, and the results of lowering the hammer tension also. From these results, I'm now thinking on a 2500psi fill I might just be able to eek out 100 shots for plinking, and the first 65 or so being a very small extreme spread, and super accurate. Obviously the groups will open up a bit for the last 30 or so as velocity drops off. Once I get the string flattened out, I'll start working on accuracy. Needless to say, lots of fun to just rack the bolt and shoot for a couple hours, all for pennies.

Watch some of edgunusa videos on you tube. Just put in Benjamin air guns and he will come up. He is a unbelievable shot with a air gun and has a lot of useful tips on these kind of guns. Kicked around getting one of these for a while now.

Yep, I've watched a ton of his videos. That is actually what pushed me over the edge on making the purchase. I'm really happy with mine, just need to do a couple more things and then I can bench rest it and get the scope dialed perfectly.
