Here's dinner, and yes it's missing orange and red colors, but I usually pass on sweet potato and cranberries. And here's desert While the butter under the skin style turkey was great, the ham was amazing. Fantastic thick chunks of brown sugar crust outside and wonderfully smokey inside. Probably the best ham I've ever had. They dared me to eat that plate, like it was a challenge? |

Now that holiday party season is in full swing, this is a request I get for almost every party... Gi Joes HOT Mango Salsa 2 or 3 Fresh mangos ( i sometimes use Dole Frozen chunks when lazy ) 1 can Dole crushed pinapple (drained) 1 med Vidalia Onion 1 cucumber (peeled) 3 Fresh Jalapenos (seeds and all, just cut off stems) 1 bunch Fresh Cilantro (no stems, just pull off leaves) 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lime juice a few craisins for color ( optional ) fresh ground sea salt (to taste...i use about 1/2 tsp) I do a med / rough chop of all in a food processor. freezes well Very cool and refreshing anytime of the year, but has a hell of a kick! |
