Chip was a heck of a guy. Before KOH he invited me along for the road trip.I did not make it and i am kicking myself in the ass now for not going, I should have said screw everything else and loaded up.I missed getting the chance to watch him live out a dream in the last few months of his life. People take life for granted,I know now never to put things off because there may not be a tomorrow. RIP Chip |

Thanks for sharing this Jason. Such a great picture of Chip. An awesome way for him to close this chapter with a great friend. My thoughts go out to his wife and daughter. I hope someone documents all of this great support Chip has from all of people Chip touched. I think it will be an awesome thing for her to look back on when she is old enough. RIP Chip |

I got to meet chip back in 08 crawlapalooza. Even got to talk to him over the phone few times. As everyone has said, he was truly well rounded, very well liked guy around here. One of my very first dealings with RCC was with Chip via the FST thread. There was a mix up in postage but he was quick to sort it. He went out of his way to make me at ease with the deal and shipping to Australia. He was an honourable, straight up guy who will be sorely missed by folks here and the world at large. Condolences to Chips family, RCC and Jason. |

Very sad indeed. I have been following your posts, Jason, on FB and various tid-bits about him here and there. I dont recall if I have met him at a comp or not, but I DO know he is one of the OG guys here from around the time I joined. The fact that you and him were good friends must mean he was a great guy! Too bad I never got the privilege to meet him... as far as I know. Rest in peace Chip. Hope all that are close to him have all the support and love to get through a tough time like this. You will all be in my thoughts.  |

I never had the privilege of meeting him in person but I knew him from here and recently on FB. I cheered him on in his fight and in his recent adventures, I prayed for him and had recently had him in my thoughts... for someone I had never met I can't explain why he was in my thoughts as recently as 2 days ago but I guess it was for one reason or another. I have been on dozens of forums and met tons of people but none as caring and thoughtful of each as RCC (where else do you see people buy stars even when they aren't in the hobby any more)??? RIP Brother... Crawl on Chip.
