Well then the answer is cleaning my apartment and throwing away a lot of stuff. It's almost (not really) as liberating to throw things away as it is to not have to think about going to work. I started to separate RC truck bits into groups then into their respective boxes, but that fizzed. Shit ton of miles on Gran Turismo, too much food and too much beer. It's been great. Being retired with some sort of income would be super dreamy.

When we moved from AZ to AR, I had to condense a 1500sqft apartment + garage into a 4'x7' utility trailer. 90% of it didn't make the trip. Liberating as fawk.

I'd like to get it back down to where I was a while ago. I was able to pack everything into a gutted Honda Civic. One trip. That was pre RCC, cause that's a car load in itself now. Doubt that's realistic at this time with all this RC and stereo and race kah shit, but even if it's three Civic loads, that's a good place for me. Oh, and the bed.

I anticipate going through 3 closets of clothes to toss or donate. Most of it should have some memories attached. Those are fun to get rid of.

all the crap i have that i wouldnt want to move would take me a good month or two to get rid of. alot of it is shit worth something to somebody. i just couldnt bring myself to throw away boxes and boxes of parts from old rc10 parts rigs and years of buying the wrong crawler parts.

Everything is worth something to somebody. You just have to decide if it is worth it to wait and the occupation of square footage for that somebody to come along.

I've had a Berg since day one. Did well with it. Bored. Went Losi. Not bored. New challenge.

I have only single motors so I can't go MOA even if I wanted. Br00d in one axle and Holmes in the other? What happens then?

I'd wire them wrong so they go towards each other. Bend the chassis in half and then we are entering a black hole. I like the thought.

... I could use a new skill, and don't care to leave the house too much anymore... Is that the typical website nerd porfolio?

I think it is required that website nerds work at least 10 hours a week in their underwear.

It's about to get pretty cold over here...

Oh! Does sitting on the toilet without underwear on count? If I'm working I mean.

Dislike.

Went from 4 jobs to 1 low paying job. Don't think I'd handle no job too well.

I recently retired after working for over five decades and the transition wasn't easy. I felt a real loss for a long time and it wasn't the paycheck. Now after a year and a half I've finally adjusted to not being a working person. As you might guess I loved my work it was a big part of my life. It might have been easier if my work life had been drudgery but it wasn't I got lucky. I worked for my last employer happily for thirty five years. There is an old saying "if you really love your work you actually never work again'.

Find that place EP it's a good one.

I remember watching that SNL and Chris Farley do that, and how hard David Spade and the girl were laughing. That was a skit of a lifetime.

The car refused to stay running on my return trip from up north in Cleveland for New Years. 02 sensor code had been on for a few months, oil had about 12k on it, full though. Started knocking. Dies if I let off the gas at all. Dies at random on the freeway. Got me home though, after a few oh shit stops, and push starts... and other things. Car has always gotten me home. Love that thing. Turns over, barely, but won't start.

I never minded the job. I minded the people, and the industry as a whole. Sad. The work was almost fun.
