@ 'Hoopty- I was at my Buddy's shop today, he just got the exact same sliders for his 3rd gen. They're really well built.

Man, thanks a lot! I always wanted a King V since I was a teenager so it's kind of a nostalgic one for me. I don't have any pics of all my guitars together but these are my main players...

Nice V. A Jackson, I'm guessing? I would love to get my mitts on a Floyd-equipped, white w/pinstripe Concorde/Rhoads someday...

I like Vs without the pickguard. The fact that Gibson only does vintage looking Vs with the stupid pickguards is yet another reason for me to ignore them as a brand.

While we can CC here in CA and I had my CCW years ago I choose not too cause of the Devil's offspring aka CA lawyers.

So, I got one of these cool little German Berloque 2mm Pinfire made between 1930 and 1950 for my Safe display. Always wanted the revolver but too $$

Yep... Jackson! I've got the white V 6-string with passive JB/ 59 combo and TOM as well as a black SS 7-string with active EMG's and a Floyd Rose... best of both worlds lol! Great guitars for the money.

Pick-guards on V's aren't a deal-breaker for me but most that I am drawn to have no scratch-plate at all. I never jived with the rounded edges of the Gibson V's though. I much prefer sharp points. Yea... Gibson is seriously over-priced compared to what other companies are offering for the same/ similar specs. Some of their LP's still make me a bit weak in the knees but if I decide to ever get another LP-type, it'll be an Epiphone... great bang for the buck. I do love the iconic look of the Gibson SG so I just had to get me one of those but other than that I'm not a big fan of Gibby's.

It's funny how the Epi stuff has become a better value than the mother brand. I have a 1987 LP Standard. Back in the 90s, I played a friend's Epi LP Standard that looked just like my Gibson LP. The quality was awful. Now, I would buy an Epi over a Gibson, except for that damn Epi headstock. I can't get past it, lol!

My main guitar is a Korean PRS SE Torero. It has EMGs and a real Floyd. For an import, the thing is pretty sweet.

I absolutely love my MIK SE! It's quite possibly my all time favorite out of anything I've ever had. I was lucky enough to get mine from a custom run with all the specs that I liked. The feel of the neck is honestly exquisite. I've get a USA made S2 SC but I really prefer the SE.

Man, That bound blank ebony board on that Torero is so striking especially against the blue flame. Love the white binding too. The 81/ 85 provides a pretty cool tone in some guitars and I'll bet it works well in that solid mahogany.

... apologies to OP if I'm going too OT.

Quick pic of my SE...

Fanatec Clubsport V3i pedals for the sim rig from their Black Friday sale. BIG upgrade from my T3PA pro setup. Load cell brake, brake travel/damping adjustments, regressive clutch, and shaker motors for the brakes (ABS, lockup) and throttle (oversteer).

That little thing can still kill, but you will probably have to seed the pellet with something nasty and definitive.

I bought my Stepdad something for Christmas that I know he'd never buy himself, even though he could. I've heard him talk about these since him and my Mom got married. I can't wait to watch him open it. Pictures do not do the wood justice, it's a gorgeous little rifle (just a .22), I'm a bit jealous actually.
