| Why you ask why? Anyway, I thought I was to young to have Kidney Stones. I'm only 27yrs. I passed two 2mm stones Thurday Afternoon. Started Wednesday at work....And I think I feel another one moving. I have never felt so much pain in my life... The last two days have been a blur..... So if I blow anyone off or didn't get something shipped out as fast as I normal do. This is why..... |

We scan for them all day at work. Did they not do an ultrasonic lithrotripsy? Breaks them up and makes them much easier to pass... |

The bad part out of all of it was. When they kicked me out the first time. The Doc didn't write the strength on the Script. So WalGreens wouldn't fill the order. And they can't call it in either. Some Mo Law.... Anyway had to go back to the ER. Got a ne Script. By then the Morpin wore off and I'm in more pain then before. Toke the New pills... Nothing.... Started to get worse. Went back to the ER and they wouldn't take me.... I started throwing up in the Lobby.. Guess What? They took me then... So two trips to the ER in one night over freckin Kidney Stones. All b/c the Doc didn't do his job right.... Guess what again? I have to pay for two ER visits.... Anyway I go back to see a new Doc in Tuesday to see what is causing these. | |

Well, the compound of the stone is indicative of the cause. Most are composed of calcium and are caused by overactivity of the thyroid and parathyroid glands (glands in the neck that create hormones). Good luck! |

I had one about 2 months ago, and I feel your pain. The ER gave me some kind of IV that was supposed to help dissolve it. Thank GOD I was only in pain for about 12 hours, but when it happened I thought for sure my appendix had burst. Worst pain ever... |

| Never too young. I went to school with a guy who got them pretty often. My bro was friends with him. He told my brother that he would regularly get them every few months, and maybe more often if he drank soda.
