Sorry guys, didn't get a chance to get up to Coal Creek today, ended up having to be in the springs most of the day.
Talking to a few guys seem like Coal Creek is the preferred spot for the finals. I will do my best to get up there tomorrow and look to see what it's like. I think no matter where we run were going to deal with snow, so I'm going to say it will be at Coal Creek unless there is just too much snow up there.
So with that, Bring out the chains, studs and what ever else you may think will help you chances of improving traction. (within the realm of scale reason)
Hope to see you all there!

Yea, I know that my chains are large and Jay claws are evil. I'm not that picky about exact scale. I'm talking more about tying a torch to the hood, bringing a 50lb bag of sand to throw down, you know chit you'd try to pull:-P

Are you going to run the new MSD rules?

No, not for this event. New rules will be coming out for the next series.
I will use some of the MSD rules and quide lines for the next series, but will also have some changes the fit into more of what we do here.

Are you going to sweep the snow off the rocks or does the 1st person have to break trail?

Goodall is going to run his 6x6 to break some trails, but I think if some of us can bring some brooms along also it will help get things going quicker in the morning.

As fun as the Polar Bear runs are, I really don't want this event to be like that....so if there are a few that can volunteer to bring some brooms I would appreciate it.

I'm planning on going up there tomorrow (I guess it would be later today) to see what it looks like and bring a broom along and see what I can do to get it ready. If anyone would like to come up send me a pm or call and I'll let you know when.

Ok when up there today and it looks real good. There is snow, but I think there is less snow up there then there would be at Lutz.
I also got the milage from highway 93, so once you turn off of 93 it was 13.7 miles on my odometer to were we park.
Took some pictures to show you conditions. Chains/studs may on may not be a good idea, so choose your poison

Looks like a day for no spikes, but I'll have them there just in case.

See you guys there!

Here is what I was thinking of doing for the guys that have been to 4 or more events. Each one would get a copy, but it would be their rig as the color image. Just used Jeff's rig as an example. The background would go unchanged. Thinking of getting them printed out 8x10. Any interest in that?

I also have not finished adding "scale series" to the right hand side of the picture.

Yea, come on up. It'll cost you a 4 link truss or two though.......J/K:-P
Courses should still be set up so if you want to run them and get scored should not be an issue.

Today was a blast!

Thanks to all that came out to the events. It was a great series!
I will be starting another one here in a month or so. Need to do some tweeking of the rules.

I'm sure your all waiting for scores so here ya go.

In 1.9

In 2.2

Overall standings with the one drop.
Congrats to Jeff (JGoodall) for the over all series win! You had a dominating win in this class!

Overall standings with one drop.
I just barely hung on to the lead in this class with a 5 point win over Jeff (JGoodall).

Again THANKS to all of you that showed up to the events.

I will get some rules started here soon and we'll go over what everyone wants to see and change.

I've got a question too about the points...

What courses did the 2.2s scores correspond to?

is it:

Score 1 = Gated Course
Score 2 = Time Trial
Score 3 = Hill Climb

or was it the order we ran the 2.2s?

Thanks to jgoodall, rogue, brad, and anyone else that made this what it is. I'm excited for the next series!
