also it's far away from a lot of people.

Why don't some of you crawl Rock's place this weekend if he's game? I'd go up if my freaking mom didn't volunteer me for cat sitting duties for a friend of the family

Bunce School road is simply awesome. About 20,000 acres of pure crawling heaven.

Problem is it's about 8,500 ft and someones said last week it was still snow covered two weeks ago.

I could run up and have a look see.

I doubt it's 100% covered but there is probably snow patches for sure. Also it's supposed to rain in Denver this weekend so it'll probably snow there.

Bunce will happed this summer. Maybe a group of guys go up and we just have fun, no comp just layout courses and see what people think. Maybe in 3-4 weeks or so.

I thought it was more of a get together, it is not in the comp section. What ever I am game for anywhere. But tell me where to go and I am there. A address would even better so I could get a map maybe thanks

Well my brother is turning 21 this weekend. We could do it after 12:00 sun because my parents are leaving my bro the house to through a party sat to early sun. Let me know if you any one want to come up. Other times every week day after 3:30. If a week day would work for some one to check it out I can take a sick day at school or a half day or something like that. I just need to know the day so I don't misss any huge items.

We may end up at Jason's house!!!

Ace.....let us know what you find when you go scouting for the snow.
I think Griz and Aces Place sounds the best!!!!!
Bender and I were there sunday. Yup, to much snow still. Were getting that storm on sunday. But it will hopefully be gone the next day.

No doubt. I don't think you could find a better place than the one we're talking about. The snow is the only issue.

I heard 10-20 inches in Denver possible. That would probably mean 3 feet or more at Bunce.

But the weather man are usually wrong around here.

COUGH! EDIT! COUGH!

If these locales get hit with snow, and ft collins gets a dusting, then I say we head up there.

Okay I almost hate to bring it up because of confusing things...

I went up the canyon today after work. There is a little snow up at my favorite spot but not much.

I also checked the area around the big parking lot up there. Lots of cool places to crawl 40 feet from the parking area. We could hold a great meet right there. I was in my 55 Chevy car so no problems with access I assure you! (15 feet from highway)

Then I headed down the canyon (peak to peak down hwy 7 east towards Lyons) and found at least 4 nice spots with parking and great crawling. There are even a few close to public restrooms.

One more option. I'm gonna head up Saturday and get some pics and run my new crawler around before the snow hits.

I'll post'm here.

I don't know if we'll have a spot until last minute, considering its where ever it is that isn't covered in snow.

I think PWT has it. If the storm goes south Dirk's is out if the storm goes north Rocks or Bunce is out.

I'll head up Monday or Tuesday after the storm and report conditions...

Current weather here in Boulder is rain, but I imagine will start snowing tomorrow. Some of us have been thinking about the Flatirons as a possible comp site. The only problem will be parking. This could be solved with carpooling to the site. Then again if it snows the Irons are out because snow hangs around for a long time up. We might be choosing a site last minute. Tomorrow afternoon I will head up to the Irons to see what it looks like.

Which ever site gets the most sunlight pretty much. This stuff will start melting off pretty quick, but only in places that have good sunlight. It might be so muddy around there no one will want to walk and drive in it though.
