So far Longmont has about 5" of thick wet snow (5:18 Sunday evening) Anyone down Digglers (monument hill) have a snow total? Assuming the storm is mostly over that is. I'm game for checking out my spots up the canyon later this week but not holding out too much hope! Edit: Just read Rock had 2 feet! These Colorado spring storms melt awful quick though... |

I have an 8 foot drift in my back yard. I can't see much further than that. Looks bad. Who knows what next weekend will look like. Could melt off quickly. |

Here in golden up to 3' drifts. But we'll see, like everyone has said spring snow never sticks around for long.

the snow at my house is melting fast and its not supposed to get that far below freezing tonight. i dont think we'll have to worry about snow this weekend, but i think mud will be an issue. i dont mind a little, but when there's too much to walk around then thats a prob. we need regular mud condition updates |

Holy crap! In Longmont were down to patches of snow only. I'd say tomorrow the ground will be 90% free of snow.

The thing I don't like about the flatirons is parking... Every place has a "fine for parking without permit" I think you need to join the state park to legally park there. The terrain is awesome though. |

They have a little permit box, you pay $3.00 for the day and stick the tag in your window. Parking is limited though. |

If we can carpool then the flatirons would be perfect, or get up there early and beat the hippies.

Big Tex has it right, carpool, pitch in for your 3 bones and a day pass. Start early and overcome the hippie bouldering jokers. Not too mention we will be far enough back, and that place is big enough for everyone to share. The few people that have been up there when Big Tex and I have been crawlin all have been very open and inquisitive about what the trucks are and what they can do. The biggest thing we can do to help ourselves out is to carpool. Meet in Boulder and only take a few trucks of people up to the parking areas. |

I thought it was decided a while back its set for saturday. What time would we need to be in boulder to beat the hippies? Holy shiznuts... only 5 days away and I still need to wire up my ESC and figure out why my front driveshaft keeps popping off. (and no I don't want a clod thank you!) |
