Dirks place! About an hour closer to me and bigtex, a nice comp course, and buttloads of natural terrain! |

I know. She is so freaking hot! And freaky in bed too I don't know why you'd want to have it at her house since she's still in the dorms though, not a whole lot of rocks there.... Well, I mean, non white, powdery rocks anyway. Oh I voted rock's too, and if we go there, maybe we can head to her house too, since she's down the road |

Ok.... this is getting stupid and at this rate, we will not be meeting anywhere! Dirk's Place: Natural terrain, much like the rocks at Red Rocks. Decent amount of area to run and set up courses. Quite a few of you have been there....so give your imput. It is near Monument, CO and takes about 1 hour 15 minutes from Thornton, CO. This place is open land and I have no idea if anyone gets pissed off if we are there. I have never been warned or thrown out of the area. If we were to get kick out of the area, we could go back to my house where I have my built courses. I agree that stacked rocks is not as fun but no one can kick us off of my own property and my parents don't live with me or visa versa......although my wife does kick my ass once in a while but she won't mind us there. Rock's Place: Looks good in the pics but no one has ever been there so we are trusting a kid for the whole day. His dad is cool about most anything it seems but I believe one of us "adults" should talk to him first. How much rock is actually there? Is it just that one spot in the picture or is there tons more? The nice part is that we can't be kicked out if it is their private property. Mostly, I would hate to get there and the whole thing fall apart because his parents didn't want 35 people going crazy on their property. It also looks like quite a trek for anyone, even the guys in Denver! Griz and Ace's Place(isn't that the name of a bar? ): Could you guys expand more on the area? This might actually be the best place from what I've seen in pictures and video. Is it legal to run there? Could we have a lot of courses built in the area? etc. etc. etc. Which one???? Let's decide before it's too ****in late! |

dirk, do you have any pics. i liked red rocks and more of the same would be cool. but i think a grill + BBQ would make this comp kickass. i agree about puting the whole thing (including out of towners) on a kid is kinda sketchy, someone should definately call ahead. also, dirk, since you've done this before you could think about courses and that would speed up the planning and we'd be crawling faster. i'd hate to have to wait for an hour or two before the courses were planned. |
