Paid my Subscription but it Did Not Renew

I sent a note to the moderator a few days ago , haven’t heard back . I would like to post photos. I’m giving it a few days before I contact PayPal .

I do understand that life can get in the way of business once in a while but from what I am reading here it may have been happening long before I joined last month.

So I'm guessing since not a one of the moderators have responded to this thread yet that it really is true that this place is near dead. Hate to see RCC die a slow death!

Hey @Fricker08, I'll throw my membership money your way if you do have plans to start up a new RC forum. Without RCC, I'll need someplace to go to everyday to get my fix!

Count me in as well! This place has been almost a daily fixture for me even if I don't post as often as many others. The format of forums like these really is suited to ongoing build threads.

Having a crawler specific forum like this one is definitely the best. I really like the layout of all the sub forums. Looking around there really isn’t another that is comparable. Would be pretty sweet to have something like it that functions optimally.

Would be nice if somebody who would be active could take ownership of the forum so it could continue. Seems like maybe the owners are enjoying the extra free income from subs & ads. I imagine upkeep is pretty low..

When I was just getting into RC crawling a few years ago, my research would lead to here. I'd hate to see it die and I like how exclusive this forum is.

Agree. I log in at least once a day when possible to view and add my 2 cents.

I too like the layout of this forum. IMO it is the best format for logging a build thread. Fakebook and the Gram are not suited for documenting a build and I only use them for posting pics.

Same here. This forum really helped me get through the "noob" stage of RC crawling back in the day. I'd be lost without it!

The moderator responded yesterday , he asked me to forward my PayPal receipt to him and I would get my green star .

Sounds like the platform is faltering. Last year when i upped the membership it worked automatically. Makes me wonder how long before the entire forum crashes.

I remember when URC forum suddenly crashed years back. That's what led me here.

I still have 2 full page sticker sheets he sent me - one of waterslide decals and one of regular peel-off stickers.

There's even some URC Tamiya ones in there!

I need to use them on something.

That site was a blast while it lasted, amazing how much work he put in.

A real shame that he basically quit because of local laws preventing him from running his RCs anywhere near home.

Didn't he get deep into Lego's after that?

Yep, that's the one. I agree with you, it was a fun forum. Had a laid back vibe.

You are correct, he went fully into lego. I understand he starting a page called 'Jangs Bricks' or something close to that. By now he is likely building caves at legoland
