Exclamation ~MSD Scale Nationals 2010 Idea, have a look~

We, " the rules committee " have been kicking this idea around for almost 3 months.

2010 - here is our thought, 3 days, 3 classes, 1 each day. Friday- CC-01/ XC 1.9 class , Saturday- 1.9 scale class, Sunday 2.2 scale class. Awards each day for each class, still have the raffle for everyone and NOW we will reign the OVERALL National Scale Champion whos score will be comprised from ALL 3 CLASSES.

SO, what I want to know and PLEASE mod's don't let this thread turn into a biotch session.

I only want to know 3 things.

1. Do you like this format?
2. W/O a 2.2 pro class will you still attend?
3. Would you build 3 trucks to run all 3 classes next year?

that is all I want posted for now please and thank you. We are just trying to bring you the premier scale event of the year, each and every year.

YES!

2. W/O a 2.2 pro class will you still attend?
YES, But would of liked it to remain. I see no reason for the CC-01/XC's

3. Would you build 3 trucks to run all 3 classes next year?
Just building my 1.9 and 2.2 and bringing a couple of rock trucks

Yes, yes, and yes.

I think that a CC-01 comp would be a blast

Plan on making it back agian in 2010, missed it this year.

1)format is fine.
2)Not the reason that I was showing up, but I enjoy competing.
3)I like a few others have said, I don't like these and do not plan on getting one just for this event.

This is great info guys, thank you, keep the posts coming. This is exactly why I posted it up as a question, not a decision.

Numbers 1 and 2 are both a yes for me, but there's no way I can throw two other rigs together in time so I wouldn't be entering all 3 classes, just the cc-01 if there is one.

1. No
2. No
3. Yes if there was 2.2 comp, 1.9scale, and 2.2 scale. Hell 1.9 comp would be better then the CC-o1/XC class, I see nothing scale about them beside they are highly uncapable. Plus they are boring unless you like Walmart like toys.

That is just my opinion. Alot of people love them, I have ran the crap out of a few CC-o1's, I have even competed at one of your comps with one.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes, in order to have a chance at overall.

I don't see how people can say their not capable.

Here's a link to a video of the UTRCRC CC-01 only scale comp. It was a blast! They can be very capable. When Pinch and I set up the courses we were very worried they wouldn't make it through the course and Pinch cleaned it and I only had 1 gate (we don't count reverses on our scale events).

UTRCRC Tamiya CC-01 ONLY Ultimate Scale Adventure

I think the key to this class would be no tires over 4" and a wheel base restriction.

we have already discussed such rules for the Local cc-01 class and would transfer it to the nat rules too. maximum tire height 1.9 or smaller wheel and max wheel base have all been batted around.
